Beautiful
I bought this for my toy pomeranian to be able to get onto my bed. Yes she is a spoiled girl. I work with wood and was worried about this. I opened the box and immediately I smelled it and it reminded me of the forest after it rained. The wood is sturdy and has a dream natural wood pattern to it. It was worth every penny and easy to put together. The lids come off easy for storage. I don’t get impressed easily because I’m picky with wood but this is a dream to see.

Unstable and to steep for a dogs gate
Very unstable and so steep my dogs could not get up the 3steps. And if they tried to use it the tops of steps for storage would come off. Very detrimental for a dog and their limbs. Let alone surgeries for seen in the future ððð. So was not worth the money for it’s animal and owner.Only thing good for it was ease to putting it together.

Si if want solid steps and donât care about secret compartments dog will feel more secure if u glue step covers so they donât slide around

More assembly than anticipated
These stairs seem to be sturdy and good quality but the assembly was more challenging than anticipated. The slats for the front of the steps do not have pre made holes and it was a little challenging for me to hold everything in place and screw everything in.

Looks so much nicer than the plastic ones!
The directions were not the clearest, but definitely not hard to figure out. I put it together in about 30 min. My little Yorkie (sheâs about 3 1/2 pounds) was a little spooked by them at first, but I turned her climbing them into a bit of a game for her and she loves it ð! They are the most aesthetically pleasing compared to others for sure.

Solid purchase
The tops of the stairs do move around just slightly, but my dog got used to it within a few weeks and now uses them easily. The extra storage is great. It did take a little while to put them together, but worth it.

Unsturdy steps and UGLY
I didn’t want ugly plastic stairs so I ordered this wood one. Directions were soso. Pilot holes were driven into some pieces, but not all. When I put the screws in the places without pilot holes, the wood split. The carpet is ugly and choppy looking. There were caps to hide the screws with, but the color of the caps is wrong and looks really bad. The steps are not attached. They are loose and come off when you try to move it. Not happy AT ALL with this product.

Not stable and could really get a dog hurt
The stairs are not bolted down so they move around and my dog almost got really hurt! My dog has three legs so the sturdiness is essential. Needed to return, might be good for an extra extra small dog but probably nothing over 10 pounds

Honestly, there is truth to the other reviews. For me, some of the pieces of wood did not come with holes drilled into them. This means i will need to use a drill, otherwise the wood will split. This is pretty annoying. Other than that, the stairs are a bit rough so they will need sealed (although idk if iâd describe it as splintery). With a little effort i think these can be really nice, but its more effort than i was hoping to make so I give it 1 star.
