Our Story
The story of ZippyPaws starts with a love story between a girl and her dog. Co-founder Jen Glaser started ZippyPaws in 2011. Inspired by her Golden Retriever JJ, she recognized a need for dog toys that were both safe and aesthetically pleasing. The toys were an embodiment of everything JJ was: playful, colorful and full of fun!

This works well for older dogs that need a lift.
We adopted an older dog and she struggled to get in the car. It worked very well along with the handle on the harness. She was way overweight then and has lost 25 pounds. She doesn’t need it now but she may again as she ages.

GOOD PRODUCT BUT…..
I like this product. Unfortunately I cannot use it for ((2)) reasons: 1) It is too big for the dog that needs it and I ordered according to chart. 2) there is no “cut out” for male dogs to go pee((i.e. it covers their penis and therefore soiling the product)) Otherwise, this is a sturdy, comfortable, easy-to-use product overall. I am just sorry it wasn’t a fit for my dog.

Harness for dogs
Product appear reasonable. Why the leg holes are not padded like rear are in clear. Nylon should band not padded for human user. Small dog can weigh up to 21 pounds, depending on breed Order instructions were also made clear for size XL,yet received size small.

Too Big for 70 pound german shepherd
This seems to be a sturdy item. However, the sizing information in the description is vague, stating it will fit dogs “up to 36 in. around the ribcage.” I tried it because the item offers free return shipping.First, the item does not state the minimum size of the ribcage. My 70 pound german shepherd is too small to fit this harness.Second, the harness does not go around the ribcage, but below the ribcage, around what I think is the stomach, at the hind part, which is smaller than the ribcage. I measured the harness and it fits up to 36 inches, but even a dog with a 36 inch ribcage will generally have a shorter stomach.So, it appears a well made item, but it is too large for my dog. I would suggest improving the sizing information to reduce returns.

This helped our golden retriever so much when her hips started to get weak. We didnât put her legs through the leg holes though. She didnât mind it at all! Made her life easier.

for female dogs it isn’t “body forming”
This item is probably really good for male dogs but not so good for female dogs. This covers up the pee hole so every time she needs to go , this get totally wet.Needs to be notched out so the girls can go!

The product is a good concept, easy to use but is ridiculously large with limited adjustment, this should be advertised as XL only. My 14 year old Dalmatian, 60cm waist, was way too small and with limited adjustment could not get it to fit
