Got three Super Senior Cats!
One has renal issues, that has recently decided she doesnât like her RX food anymore. Like not at ALL! Royal Canin Renal support isnât cheap either!! Have been feeding Wysong Geriatrix to my other super senior cats and the one on the RX diet LOVES this stuff! Canât keep her away from it. I have to run it by the vet but, first ingredient is chicken meal. For those of us that donât understand what that means: it is deboned chicken meat. Only the good stuff. It doesnât make her vomit, she seems to be doing better⦠may have to mix this in with her RX food. As long as she is eating!! I will update later once I run it by the Dr. next week.P.S. WAS feeding all my cats Blue Buffalo until I found out that it was causing urinary crystals. Urinary Crystals has ultimately led me here to renal failure. Isnât that grand?!?? After several trips to the vet, and thousands of dollars later; went on a mad scramble to find the best food for senior cats and landed here. Since the Pandemic has wiped out supplies of Royal Canin Senior and/or made it so expensive no one can afford it, decided to try this. Glad I did because kibbles are small enough for cats that have missing teeth, problems chewing, etc., absolutely no vomiting from any of them. They still get their daily wet food (with extra water added) to encourage moisture but, I use the Wysong kibbles as a snack in-between meals. Everyone is doing great!

Great value for money!
My cats were vomiting on a daily basis. I know cats are prone to this but it seemed excessive. They checked out healthy at the vets so i decided to check their dry food. I was feeding them two well known supposedly top brand dry foods (both contain corn meal) This dry food clearly has far better ingredients so i decided to try it. At first they showed no interest (they get wet food as well) but after a while they started eating it. I can say with total honesty that the vomiting has been reduced by at least 80%. It is now unusual for one of them to vomit, whereas before it was daily. This food is clearly far better than the so-called top brands. If your cat is vomiting on dry food as mine were, i would strongly recommend you give this food a try. They were reluctant to eat it at first but now they ask for it! Well worth 5 stars.

No difference but not a bad product
It just didnât work for my cat like I wished it did. I have a 15 year old cat that has some stomach issues. Iâve tried many different kinds of dry cat food and it feels like when Iâve gotten the right one, Iâm a couple months Iâll be in search for another. This is how I came across this product and hoped for the best. He had diarrhea and throwing up ( not hairballs ) with this too much as much as other expensive brands. So far Nutro is our go-to and hopefully we can find another product that will work.

Geriatric cat food.
I thought the kibble would be softer as my geriatric cat’s are 16 in human years also not convinced the smaller kibble is easier to eat.How would I know about the taste ?

Sassy 18 yo Roxy approves, repeat customer.
Roxy is a sassy 18 yo., she is one of two pets who are in their late age, the other is Belle. a domestic and very vocal lady turning 16 yo in May. Roxy was happy with her previous food (Solid Gold) until I discovered Wysong in my search for a product for Belleâs health condition. In my profession, one makes an informed decision before making any change – fortunately for me, my brother is also a veterinarian. There is no question that the ingredients are of good quality, the crude protein % is high, this is very important. I was careful in the transition to prevent upsetting Roxyâs stomach, to the extent of using a scale. This went very smoothly for her. Of course, all this would be for nothing if Roxy didnât touch the food. There was no problem there. I wish Roxy loves the variety of Wysong wet food the same but she would only eat the Epigen Salmon, so thatâs all I am ordering that way she and Luna (canine) get the same.

Happy Cats Happy Mom
I wanted to start using a cat food in the united states and this particular brand came up on three different recommended write-ups. Usually when I blend the new cat food with the old, my cats tend to either pick out just their old food and eat it and leave the new behind. This is the first time they are actually picking out this new food. I’m sure it’s not for all cats, but mine seem to really like it. Their poops don’t spell so awful and they seem to even poop less. A big win for all in the same household.

the kibbles are star shaped and crush very easy so, missing several teeth
My male cat would not touch any cat food other than the one he was used to (Taste of the Wild). But, after having a few teeth extracted, he was having a hard time chewing those very hard, compressed kibbles. Also, now pushing 12 and a few pounds overweight, I decided switch to geriatric formula. After trying several wet foods for several weeks, I gave up on that route (to him, if it’s not hard and crunchy, it’s not food) and ordered Wysong Geriatrix. I first fed him a few kibbles as a treat–he gobbled them up and screamed for more (that never happens). The transition was incredibly fast and after finishing a full bag, he is still more enthusiastic then ever before about meal time. Oh… the kibbles are star shaped and crush very easy so, missing several teeth, he is able to eat them comfortably. Highly recommend for senior cats.
