Neither of my dogs like this
I have a senior dog and a puppy. They are both very food motivated. Neither dog wanted to eat this treat. I canât tell if it is flavor or texture that is off putting, but they were not well-received. I coaxed the senior to eat her recommended dose, but it took a lot of begging and pleading. The puppy refused entirely. I canât say whether these work because they are too hard to give. It is unlikely that I will even finish this package.

Chatsworth loves them
My 9 year old 80lb Golden retriever, Chatsworth, began to limp which was not good. We already use a probiotic supplement but wanted to find great ones for hip and joint. Quality ingredients for joint health
Glucosamine has been working for my older dogs for years now. I don’t use the recommended dosage, as they seem to get along great with less, so why spend the money. While my dog is well over 100#, I’ve learned that somewhere around 500 – 600 mg / day of glucosamine keeps him moving like he was half his age. These have 200mg/chew. In fact, a lot of brands tell you to use a higher dosing for startup, than to cut back for maintenance. The dosage they are recommending here is more in the startup range, and if less works for your pup after a while, then I’d go with that. It also leaves room to increase the dosage if he starts going downhill at all in the future.In a case like this, where it also contains MSM and Chondroitin, which both are shown to increase mobility, and even fish oil (which I don’t think by itself will fix joint issues but does have many other benefits), I can use even less mg’s of Glucosamine, as they all work together. So, while initially I look at this as pricey for my large size dog, when I use ‘my own’ formula for dosing it becomes much more reasonable for a jar with 90 chews. My dog loves the flavor, I don’t need to hide this into something yummier. Expiration date is almost 2 years away, so I know they are fresh.If your dog is slowing down with age or visibly showing signs of joint issues, try some Woofy Glucosamine, you won’t be disappointed. And, having just the basics of known effective ingredients, you won’t have to wonder about what worked and what didn’t, or adding something from outside the spectrum that does not get along with your dog as well.
