Awesome Ramp for Our Mini Dach
This ramp is amazing! Our pup knows when itâs bedtime but canât get in on her own, so I knew she needed a ramp. Our bed measures 26â to the top of the mattress and the platform on this ramp tops out at 25â. Our pup was able to navigate the up/down easily. Because we have a footboard, thereâs about a 1â gap between the platform and the mattress but she is able to step over it no problem – this is because the legs of the ramp sit against the footboard and not right up against the mattress. Take that into consideration. My only complaint is the color of the wood – I wish there were other options. I will be painting ours to match our aesthetic. But otherwise, completely happy with my purchase and definitely recommend.

Only wish it was a bit taller
Just the thing for my older little pups and the taller bed. Wrestled a bit putting it together. Wish the directions were a little larger and the screws were better labeled. My corgi has already figured it out!

Pawsitively Perfect, this Wooden Dog Ramp Changed My Furry Friend’s Life!
As a dog owner, I’ve always been mindful of my furry friend’s comfort and well-being. But, as my loyal companion, Sam, grew older, I began to notice that he was having trouble jumping onto our bed. His joints would creak and groan, and I could tell he was in pain. That’s when I knew I needed to find a solution. Enter the Wooden Dog Ramp for Bed. I was a bit skeptical at first, wondering if Sam would even use it. But, from the moment I set it up, he took to it like a pro. The smooth, sturdy surface and gentle 20° slope made it easy for him to climb up and down, without putting any strain on his joints. One of the features I love most about this ramp is the removable guardrails. Not only do they provide an extra layer of safety, but they’re also easy to install and remove. And, the fact that they can be switched to either side is a genius touch. The non-slip carpet surface is another game-changer. Great Ramp!!
I ordered this dog ramp for my 5-lb Pomeranian, thinking it would be easier and more aesthetically pleasing than the large plush stairs. While I expected it to be large, it turned out to be bigger than I anticipated. It’s definitely perfect for a king-size bed. I have a queen, and it’s a little longer than my bed.The stairs seem very well made, and I appreciate that the company used pine wood, as it feels sturdy and durable. There are also no rough edges, which I appreciate, and they’re fully painted. Although I’m not a big fan of the cherry wood color, it doesn’t look bad. I absolutely love the 20° slope; it’s very easy for my dog to navigate. She’s fearless, but if you have a dog that is cautious or skittish, you will love the design. The surface is fully carpeted, which allows my pup to run up and down without any fear from me of her slipping. Additionally, the raised bars along the sides provide a little extra security, and I appreciate that I can adjust the guardrails to either side. Another bonus is the little landing platform. My pup loves to sit on it!Overall, this ramp fits perfectly with the height of my bed, which I so appreciate. It’s a little long, but I’m okay with that; if you have a king-size bed, it’ll fit perfectly. The assembly was fairly easy, and the instructions were clear. It feels sturdy and well-built, giving me peace of mind that it will last for a long time. My dog adapted to it really quickly, and I’ve had no issues with her using it at all. I definitely recommend this ramp if you have older dogs or pets recovering from an injury.

Good for Dachshunds
To put this together you will need the provided Allen wrench, an adjustable wrench for the nuts, and a screw driver or drill if you want the end rail. The instructions are only pictures but I could follow them ok. The pieces and hardware are labeled with letters as indicated in the pictures. All of my hardware was present but there was only one extra screw. If you want the end rail there is an extra piece to attach that needs to be drilled or screwed on with wood screws. There are no predrilled holes for this step like the others, but the wood is soft enough to do this step with a screwdriver. The rails slot into place on either side of the ramp and are loose. I like the rails to encourage my mini Dachshund to use the ramp and not jump off the side but I worry about them falling out easily. The design of this piece is very thoughtful and it’s one of the better ramps you can buy. It’s not too steep, is carpeted, and the grips on the feet provide stability.
