my buddy Luke:
I am a vet and I have a dog, Luke. He’s a large dog of 3 years old. I adopted him from a shelter when he is just over one month. Luke is smart and he learns skills quickly. We enjoy playing Frisbee on the wide grass.
Encounter an Accident:
Once we were playing in the field, Luke Chased the ball and disappeared into the grass. When he came back to me, his foreleg was raised. Then I know he fell down on a slope. I cleaned the wound and bandaged it as soon as we got home. The original blanket did not fit Luke anymore, so I tried to make a new bed for him.
I found a sponge and a flannelette from the warehouse. I sewed them together with a needle and thread. Luckily, Luke liked it. His injured foreleg recovered day by day. At that time, I happened to realize how important a comfortable bed is for a dog.
My Vision:
With 8 years of clinical experience, I summarized a set of ways to make dogs recover as soon as possible, which was well received. I hope every dog could have a nice bed, especially for injured dogs. Therefore, I invited my friend Fox.O.Henry, a professional mattress designer. Fox.O.Henry is a excellent mattress designer that he has designed different for all kinds of dogs. For restless dogs, we also made some designs and tried out the helpful ones. XL is great for my German Shepherd mix! He loves it!
My pup recently had a sleepover at his dog bestie’s place & loved her bed, so I got my friend to send me a link to her dog bed. However, I decided to look & see if I could find a similar one in a color I liked more (my friend’s is gray). I was so happy to find this one comes in turquoise! The other dog is a slightly smaller Australian Shepherd & had a Large bed, so I decided to get my 40-50 lb German Shepherd mix the XL, plus, at 6 1/2 inches depth, it is a little thicker, too, which is nice. I also like that it says the cover is waterproof & that it is removable (by zipper) and washable. Also like the idea that if the inner foam egg crate ever wears thin while cover is still good, maybe I can just replace that. My dog LOVES it! He got in around 3pm and didn’t get up from it until 11pm lol. (It is big enough I was able to put his food bowl with dry food on the bed with him for him to eat there, so, he only got up to let me know he needed to go out once he woke up, lol.) I like that the large size and huggable sides let him choose if he wants to spread out or cozy up. I had added it, along with several similar ones, to my Amazon cart a while back and decided to wait and see which if any of them went on sale for Black Friday Week. Happily, they all did, but this one was my favorite, so it won out! I like that it gets checkmarks for all of the important qualities it is reviewed for, which didn’t even include the awesome color selection and superior aesthetic appeal/ability to match other decor. Anyways, I loved it enough I added it to my holiday wishlist so maybe he will get another one as one of my Christmas presents, lol.

i have a german shepherd and lab mix that is very destructive, but i trust the durability of this bed a lot after seeing him chew on it and scratch it without damaging it. he has never been able to have a bed of his own. my dog, Knives, has torn apart the walls, floors, and most things we have tried to give him. itâs not his fault, he is active and gets anxious. this bed is a good choice if your dog is similar.i chose this bed because of the reviews from people with active pittbulls and german shepards that have been using theirs for years.it came in the box with both pieces rolled up and wrapped in plastic, it was the mattress and the cover. very easy to take apart and put together, the zipper on the bottom opens around it so you donât have to struggle with the setip. it didnât smell like anything like most things i have ordered online so we definitely appreciated that. the padding is amazing, i tested it. the material on the inside (for the mattress) is durable, but doesnât make any noise despite it being waterproof. (sometimes cheaper stuff like this makes a noise when you use it, but this one doesnât.) it is very aesthetically pleasing, looks very nice. the material is soft, but still sturdy. the size was perfect, i just got one a little bigger than him⦠itâs all worth the money.iâm thinking about getting him another color.(update: we got one for our beagle mix.)

The ONLY perfect sized bed! And perfect in other ways, too!
I have a Great Dane and I was searching for a bed that would fit in a 54×37 inch monster crate. It doesn’t seem like most of the makers of pet beds take into consideration the size of most dog crates. I can find ones that would be smaller than the inside of the crate and slide around. I could find ones that would be the right width but wouldn’t be the right length. And I can find ones that would be too large in one of the directions. If you have one of the monster, as large as they make, indoor dog crates… THIS IS THE BED YOU WANT!!!My Great Dane absolutely loves it and the front door on the crate perfectly lines up to the opening on the bed bolsters. Since he’s only a puppy we had an accident which means over a gallon of urine to contend with, and this bed contained it all! I simply zipped off the cover, being careful not to spill anything, and threw it in the washer and it came out already almost dry before I even put it in the dryer. Both the bolsters as well as the main body piece are completely waterproof! And it fits in one of the smallest front loaders I’ve ever seen for a regular size washer.now I will tell you that the first one I received I had a major problem in that the phone did not expand fully so there was a hard ridge all the way down the middle of it. I got a hold of the manufacturer and the replacement could not be more perfect. I had absolutely no problems with it. I don’t think many people would have this issue but I did order the teal color, which is probably a little less common and so it may have been vacuum packed a little bit longer on the shelf then would be advised. No matter what the reason was it was easily fixed and to my complete satisfactionEven if you do not have a monster size crate and only have a monster size dog, I can’t recommend this bad enough it is perfect for Great Danes newfoundlands and other dogs in excess of 100 lb. Especially those that prefer to sprawl instead of curl up to sleep. Although I will warn you that the largest size they make that fits in these large crates is about half the size of a queen bed, so definitely measure the spot you’re going to put the bed before you decide what size to purchase!Five stars all around for the bed, it’s ease of use, it’s manufacturing, and it’s customer service. You don’t get to say that very often! It’s a little bit pricey but for something of this size you won’t find a better deal that’s going to hit all of those marks.Oh, and since it’s not Sherpa and it’s a beautiful microfiber velvet, hair doesn’t seem to stick to it! So you can easily take it outside and shake it out or you can wash it and not worry about it constantly looking like half of your dog is still stuck to the bed!

We have had labs most of our married life. Our youngest has always had hand me downs. Now he has his own! Perfect size, plenty of cushion and very soft. I read reviews that some mentioned not much stuffing, cheap material. I let this sit out to fluff up for a couple hours before I inserted the bottom cushion. It is very nice. Not âasâ loft as others, but my pup doesnât like the real fluffy beds. Nice foam base covered in a water resistant material. Great buy. No smell and takes just a minute to set up. Very simple.
