We give this to our dogs and our cats. We actually make our own raw cat food using the recipe at catnutrition.org and that recipe calls for salmon oil. It does stipulate that one should use gel cap salmon oil – as it is considered less susceptible to rancidity, but this product seems to be a good substitute and we keep what isn’t being used in the refrigerator. Our dog’s skin issues have noticeably improved since adding either krill or salmon oil to her diet. The oils in wild caught salmon have the proper form of EPA and DHA, unlike the oils and fat in farm raised fish.

This is a huge hit with my dogs
Iâm a huge fan of this salmon oil for my dogs! The most common way I serve it is by drizzling it over their food. While I like to rotate different toppers, I make sure to use this one 1â2 times a week. The biggest difference Iâve noticed is in their coats, theyâre so much shinier and healthier-looking. Omega-3s are an excellent addition to any pet’s diet, and since my dogs all love fish, this oil is a perfect fit.My smallest dog is notoriously picky, but I discovered a trick: if I let the oil âsink inâ to her food, she eats it happily. If I leave it just sitting on top, she licks it off and leaves the rest behind – a never-ending battle!The large bottle is perfect for my four pups and lasts much longer than a week or two, which I really appreciate. The pump dispenser is mess-free and a lifesaver for someone like me who canât stand the smell of fish. Fortunately, this oil has a mild fish scent that isnât offensive at all, and seeing how excited my dogs get makes it easy to tolerate. Overall, itâs a fantastic product for both me and my pups!

While this salmon oil doesn’t have as strong an odor or as vibrant a color as others I’ve used, it does seem to work well and my dog loves the taste. So far, so good!

Excellent source of nutrition for our pups.
Our pup absolutely loves the wild Alaskan salmon oil! We serve it to him every evening dripped over his supper . Salmon is a great source of omega fatty acids for dogs (and humans too). And it is not sourced from farmed salmon but rather wild caught! We are ultra careful as to the source of our pup’s food.

Super Stinky
I wish the lid was an accurate measure for the dose, but instead it is stink up your measuring cups or do some guesswork–neither of which are ideal. It seems to be the real deal, which is cool, but it smells! My dogs don’t even flock to it like they do when I cook them salmon. Not sure I would order this again.

My dog was experiencing symptoms such as full body itching, fur loss and skin changes. To remedy and/or provide relief began adding salmon oil as explored with meducal professional possible causes. I gave this to 2 senior cats as well.Might be not enough quantity to administer a length of ime to see changes but experienced no difference in symtoms, + or -. The pets all consumed it with no issue. Not overly fishy smelling bit that isnât an issue for me.

GREAT Salmon Oil!
I love this stuff, I have used it in the past before but never reviewed it. Dogs love this stuff. I put one pump on their food in the morning every day. I honestly feel its helped to keep their coats so shiny and smooth. Its also improved their itchy/flaky skin. I have a Pittie, Labrador and Husky and they all love it. The cats get some too with their wet food. I love that it comes in a big bottle and so it lasts a good long time. Great stuff and from a great company!

Both my dogs and cats love it when they get a special squirt of salmon goodness with their dinner; they start bouncing when they see the bottle! It’s an excellent blend of salmon and minerals and I see a huge improvement with their fur when they consume this. I’ve always liked this manufacturer for the quality of their products. So happy to find a healthy product at a great price point.
