After many orders of unstable, eyesore plastic and pricey foam steps that were junk, I came across this brand and liked its aesthetic and style. This brand offers a variety of styles, numbers of steps, various dimensions, and colors. Whichever décor style you have, you will have no problem finding steps and a color to match your home décor.Prior to this set, I have purchased 3 sets for myself and two other sets as gifts. When I have company, I normally get asked where did I get the steps from.Vine must have read my mind because I am now an official snowbird and need things at my home in Florida. One is a high step for my extra-high bed.I have two small fur babies: a 15-lb Maltipoo and a 12-lb Havapoo.Some of my friends will bring their fur babies over, which include a Beagle, Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle, and Black Lab; they all go up and down the steps fine. These steps can definitely hold the weight. I thought they might tip over or crush the foam, but the foam stayed firm and in place.This is my first Cozy Kiss set; it is versatile and detachable. The top is very easy to attachâyou just take the zipper from the side of the steps and the other part of the zipper from the detachable cushion and zip them together. They are very secure with daily use.All Cozy Kiss sets that I own have removable covers and are easy to wash. I never put them in the dryer, as they come out of the washer slightly damp, and I will either air dry them or just put the covers back on after washing.Whether you have a puppy or a senior dog, a small or a large breed these steps are great for safety as well as reduce joint and disc strain. People should not let their fur-babies jump even if they can especially longterm.*DON’T FORCE OR PUSH YOUR PUPS TO USE! HAVE PATIENCE! TRAIN THEM!Pawsitive Association: Start by making the steps a pawsitive place. Place treats, toys, and their favorite blanket on and around the steps. These stairs represent the 4th time I’ve tried to get this maniac to stop jumping on/off furniture after injuring himself a ways back. With every one of the first 3 sets that I tried (the plastic fold out kind, the hollow “stacking boxes” type and a very sturdy wooden step stool type) he would not go anywhere near them. I mean from the moment I opened the box he knew what I wanted him to do and knew that he wasn’t going to do it. I set these down in front of his favorite chair and he was asleep on top of them within 20 minutes. And maybe best of all, I’m not afraid he’s going to hurt himself even worse by attempting to jump over “the evil stairs”. Because? Dog stuff I guess?…These are truly an awesome product and I’m lucky to have gotten the opportunity to review them. They are surprisingly sturdy, well made (great material and nice non slip bottom) , and very thoughtfuly designed. All jokes aside, I think the landing area at the top is why my little dude is all about these and was not interested in the others. Since I don’t imagine that these guys used the extra material and designed a little tunnel purely for the sake of doggie peek a boo, they obviously knew something I didn’t and solved for it. That’s what great products do and what this product is.For reference Karl is about 27 lbs (mostly chest, ears, and legs) and about 15 inches from shoulder blades to the base of his tail. He has plenty of room on top to lounge comfortably without me worrying he’s going to roll off. For purely using as stairs I think you could prob go much larger. One of the first things I thought was how awesome these would have been for my senior dog a couple of years back. He also hated stairs (which is i think it’s where this guy got that idea in his head) but I think would have appreciated the landing, the gradual “wavy” incline, and the softer surface which is also pretty wide (another reason I think these were well received)Would definitely recommend!

The step is very good quality and very versatile.
The quality of the step is really good. It says it takes 24 to 48 hours to let it get into the right shape, but this was smooth almost instantly. It comes in two sections and they can be used individually, stacked, or the smaller portion can be turned upside down and nested on the larger portion. When using them together, there is a zipper that connects them so the top part will not slide off of the bottom part. The fabric is soft and textured. The bottom has bumps on it to prevent it from sliding on the floor. The cover can be taken off to wash it. The top piece has a handle on it so you can carry the whole thing around when theyâre zipped together. It has a tunnel under the base step that has a hard bottom that slips into the fabric pocket. I foster dogs and this is going be very helpful for the small ones to get on and off the couch. My own dog who is four years old likes using it to climb up on the couch. Iâm sure sheâll use it to get on my very tall bed as well if I move it in there. The quality of this is very very nice. I have no complaints at all. I have currently taking the top portion off and put it next to the bottom one, along its side, so that my puppy can climb up to from two different sides. You can see that in my picture. I have nothing negative to say about this.
