Cat’s favorite treats!
My cat absolutely loves these treats! I would recommend add a little bit of water when feeding some freeze-dried bits to your cat. What is pictured on the product listing is not the same from what I received, packaging may have been updated(don’t know) but ingredient is still chicken.

My Cat LOVES these treats! Even the dust!
My cat was eating Stella & Chewy’s Freeze-dried Raw Chicken Dinner Morsels as a treat, but I was worried about the Avian Flu outbreak infecting raw chicken. I know S&C’s uses HPP (high-pressure processing), but I want to be sure Harley is safe.He loves chicken treats, so I did some research and found that these Whole Life treats (and a few other brands) are cooked and then freeze dried. I feel better about giving him these cooked treats, and he is CRAZY about them. (Turn on the sound in the video to hear the greedy purrs!)I put them in an air-tight container and when he sees me reaching for it, he starts meowing and begging! I have to put the container in the highest cabinet above the stove, because if I Ieave it on the counter, he’ll push it off so it falls on the floor. The top of the container pops off and he can eat to his heart’s content (or until I catch him!)For those that have a problem with the dusty pieces at the bottom of the bag, here’s what I do: I just put the dust & tiny pieces in a little container, and sprinkle a bit on top of his wet food. No waste, and he cleans his bowl.Hopefully, we can go back to my his favorite Stella & Chewy Dinner Morsels someday. Until then, I’m glad I found these treats and can spoil him without worry.

Two product comparison
I have been purchasing this product, and a competing one, for the past 6 months. I’m ready to do a comparison.My cat will readily eat either brand. However, given a choice between both brands at the same time, she chooses PureBites over Whole Life, every time.Pros:The dried treats are convenient to take along.Because it isn’t fortified with other vitamins, I don’t have to worry about the cat getting into them and eating too much, or overdoing it during more intense training.There aren’t any silicon dioxide packets in it, which I feel is safer for a home with pets.The packages have had a bit more to the weight than the package indicates, for both brands.Cons:It is less of a value than the PureBites brand, at this time.The larger sized pieces are a bit less convenient, as the cat has to wait while they are broken up.These are oddly bright white, which is not what chicken looks like in my kitchen. This makes me unsure of how it ends up this way.It is important to ensure that your pet has access to water when you use these treats.Bottom line: my cat will eat either brand when only given one choice at a time. However, given access to both brands, my cat chooses the PureBites chicken treats. At the moment, those are also a better value and look more like chicken, and I do like that. Spoiled kitty won’t eat dinner without this sprinkled on top now!
My kitty was struggling with some appetite issues and I discovered these treats. He has recovered his appetite, but now he won’t even approach his food until I crumble one of these on top. Interestingly, my other cat won’t touch them.

It’s too costly to be used for daily use and there are few pieces in the packet rest all got powdered but my cat loved it

My cats go crazy for this – once they see me holding the package I have to fend them off! Really great that a simple freeze-dried chicken product with no other ingredients to worry about is such a hit. Only thing I don’t like is that it’s got a really powdery texture which ends up on the floor and all over my hands.
