Good Introduction to Holistic Care for Cats
Disclaimer: I received this item for free from the Vine program. I didn’t get paid for the review and, in fact, I Pay 45% in Federal and State Income Taxes for each item. I apologize that I don’t include pictures but I have a genetic trait that causes my hands to shake. The Wellness for Cats book is a good reference book for using holistic medicine for our cats. There are 30 recipes that address caring for our babies using the holistic approach. Some topics of interest, for me, are spraying, mild diarrhea, wound care, and traveling. Many times, with recipes like these, our kitties can be well-cared for at home, avoiding a costly visit to the Veterinarian.By keeping up with routine vaccinations and the annual wellness checkup, our babies can live a good life. Protect your kitties, as you would protect a child, and get them spayed and neutered to give them a better life. When the occasional ailment is affecting our kitties, use the Wellness for Cats book to find a holistic recipe that may help. I’ll be sharing this book with a friend who takes in older cats and gives them the best life in their senior years. The Wellness for Cats book is concise, well-written, and well organized, making for a good reference book. I think this book is a must read for those wanting to help their kitties with at-home recipes.

Good book for cat owners, has a lot of holistic/herbal remedies for your kitty.
This book does a nice job of being a guide for cat owners, it’s easy to read and well written, and has ample illustrations to keep you engaged. I found it to be more along the side of being like homeopathy for cats, which is fine but obviously regular veterinary care should be practiced as well. The book does a good job of providing tips and tricks on how to care for your cat, notice any issues that it may be having, and how to deal with it on your own with herbal remedies, etc. Some of these remedies will require a trip to your local herbal/homeopathic store. I haven’t tried any of the recipes but they appear to be harmless. Basically, this book is mainly about preventive care using herbal/homeopathic means.Overall, I think it’s a good little reference book to keep your cat in tip top shape when used in combination with veterinary care!

Cute Book!
This is a cute little helpful book on homemade homeopathic remedies for kitties. I keep lots of herbs and oils for my own DIY remedies so I already had a lot of ingredients and had no problems finding items online I didn’t have.I like the format of the book and how it’s divided up into care categories, and all the recipes are easy to make. I use the Soothing Eye Lotion to ease the effects when a few of my babies when their feline herpes flares up and they get eye stains. It’s soothing and helpful to loosen up and wipe away the stuck on goobers. I’m going to make the paw repair this winter for sure, even though my kitties don’t go outside one of them is prone to dry skin on their paws in the winter so I’m looking forward to pampering them with a balm. There’s quite a few recipes that are helpful for our babies should the need arise.

Some Practical Info on Cat Care
Here is a little book that provides some very practical natural help for your cats. Topics covered include hygiene and basic care, injuries, pain & illness, and behavior & well being. These are subdivided by topics such as, in the case of hygiene and care, how to deal with eye issues, ticks, and dental problems. In the second section topics include minor cuts, ringworm, and bites. The behavior section covers such issues as depression, traveling, and spaying. The author provides a discussion of each problem and offers a natural remedy to assist with the issue. The introduction includes a discussion of the general use of natural remedies. Useful appendixes feature a listing of various plants and herbs and their use for healing cats. OF course, you will want to consult with a veterinarian on some issues, but I have an interest in natural cures for both myself and my furry friends, so I found this book extremely interesting. There are many photos of cute cats (which I always appreciate), but I would like to see photos of the plants and herbs and some of the applications derived from them for informational purposes. An easy to understand introduction to this topic.

Cute and handy book for natural feline health
This book is hardcover and small so it leaves a small footprint in your bookcase, but offers a wide variety of mostly plant-based recipes for preventative measures as well as treatments. It utilizes a lot of plants I’ve never heard of, but in each recipe it explains the benefits of each ingredient. What I really found eye-opening is the sheer number of ingredients I had no idea were actually cat-friendly! There’s also a quick appendix in the back to make it super quick to find either the issue you want to treat or the ingredient, as well as a warning of plants and ingredients to avoid. Overall it’s a very quick, informative book that covers a wide variety of issues, from depression, to join pain, to hairballs, and much more! The only recipe I did not find was anything for the eyes, as my cat sometimes gets eye infections, but I’m not totally surprised as that’s a very sensitive part where you wouldn’t want to mess up a recipe on!

Natural cat health, not really for beginners to herbal remedies.
This is a nice resource for ways to keep your cat happy and healthy holistically. It not only gives insight into the care of your cat but it also give recipes for homeopathic remedies for common ailments. From coat care to tartar control treats there are a ton of recipes in this book! Some I feel may be less than reliable. Also, many of the ingredients aren’t readily available. Some I had never heard of before. This book is likely more for someone that is well versed in herbal remedies already. I am not, so many of the recipes seemed daunting to me.Otherwise, this is a really nice book! The imagery is nice and the print is pretty. Its small size makes it easy to keep in your medicine cabinet or on a book shelf.
