Does the job!
There is a wonderful rubberized bottom layer under this Pet Barrier Rug Pad (pictured); that is the anti-slip part that drew me to it. Our rug that’s on the tiles inside our doggie door was constantly slipping around under pet and human use. The top part of this pad is the padding (pictured) which adds a little bit of cushion and is nice.I guess this mat is designed to block any pet urine soaking through to a wood floor which I can see that it would work well for that purpose, if your rug and pad are an exact fit. It’s not too thick to stop my door from opening (pictured). There is no odor to this product. And once unrolled from shipping, it stayed flat underneath my rug and is unnoticeable. I’m very pleased with this since I haven’t had to straighten out my rug all day since putting it down! It’s the little things, yay!

Saves my rug from zoomies
Iâve only had and used this mat for one day so am only offering 4 stars because I donât yet know how it willDo with use and wear and tear. But I can happily report that unlike my prior rug mat this one didnât give up its grip when my excited 34 pound dog had the zoomies and skidded around the corner into the rug. That alone makes it worth the price!

Works perfectly!
I got this rug pad to go under my entryway rug which is in front of my front door. I have hardwood floor and my rug started sliding everytime someone stepped on it. It was definitely a fall hazard. This pad is a bit smaller than my rug but it still prevents the sliding. It is cushioned but you canât really tell that itâs not the same size as the rug unless youâre trying to tell. The pad is high quality and thick. Overall it works great!

Very pleased with this rug pad. I needed something to keep my bedside rug from sliding around on the laminate floors. This worked perfectly. I was able to cut the pad to fit my rug with a pair of very sharp utility scissors. One side of the pad is a rough-weave fabric/plastic blend, perfectly grips the bottom of my rug. The bottom of the pad is a foam that grips the smooth floor. I can still move my rug with my foot if needed, but it doesn’t slide constantly like it did before the rug pad.No review on the fluid-resistance, sorry. But as a rug stabilizer-type thing, it works great!

My large dog is a very messy eater and drinker. Typically the mats would be soaking wet when she drinks her water. She has a 2X3 washable, absorbent rug that I put under her food and water dish but it still gets wet and then soaks into the hardwood floor. I have tried a variety of “water barriers” below, including silicone pads, etc. This is by far the best thing I have found. It is washable, dryable and no water comes through the rug onto the floor. It also holds the rug in place and doesn’t get shoved around the floor with her vigorous eating. This works very well!

Thin and effective
This is a lightweight rug pad and arrived rolled up in a rectangular box. It unrolled nicely and works like a charm. Size is 2X3 and I like that i found something for the entry rug which usually goes without a rug pad and slides all over the place. It’s not too thick so the door still opens and closes with ease.

This rug pad is great! I put it under the rug in front of my stove and it’s perfect. It provided extra padding and it no longer slides around anymore. It made it so much more conformable!
