Sturdy and does the job
I put this in my office next to another…so people can walk on the first one (and really stomp off the snow and debris) and then continue on to this newer one (for final clean-off) before proceeding into my carpeted office space. It is attractive and really keeps in the dirt. It is easy to clean and sweep off…and I can always take it to the car wash and hose it down if I need to. It is heavy and does not creep/move, which is also nice. I wish they had it in lighter colors though.

This One Works And Blends In On Our Floors
This mat blends well with our floor color. I keep using it because it’s the most practical way I’ve found to keep dirt from tracking further into the house. I have the 5 x 3 size. It’s thin enough that our door opens over it, but our door has a slightly raised threshold; this mat isn’t designed to fit under a door that’s flush to the floor. It also has a slightly raised edge so if a quantity of water gets onto it the water doesn’t run off the mat. I have this same mat outside our front door because it really works. Inside it looks just like what it is – an entry mat to catch everything from outside that tries to come in on boots and shoes. I don’t worry about walking in from mud or rain on this mat because our shoes come off there. It dries quickly and the mud and debris vacuum out easily. I like this mat design way better than the mats with scroll and leaf patterns. Those to me look fake, like mats trying to be rugs. I also like it better than another one I got recently in the same color that has larger tufts that aren’t square. That one didn’t disappear as well. A wool carpet would look better in our entry but honestly, where we live this is the only mat I’ll consider for now.

Measurements come up short but the quality is outstanding
I’ll start off with the only negative about these rugs. Like other reviewers have pointed out, the rugs from this company are not a true 5×3, 3×2, etc. I purchased two 5×3 rugs and each was produced about 1 1/2 inches short on length and width. Personally it doesn’t bother me but if you are an individual looking for the “perfect fit” rug for your doorway just be aware. With that being said I am overall extremely satisfied with the purchase. They have the feel of heavy duty construction that can withstand heavy door traffic, lay flat and have a rubber pimpled backing that adheres nicely to my wood and tile floor ensuring that it doesn’t move or get bunched up. I would purchase these mats again in a heartbeat. With that said, both Amazon and the Anderson Company should either 1. increase quality control if the rugs are being produced in differing lengths and/or 2. state the exact dimensions of the rug so the customer knows exactly what they are getting.

Best Mats for floor
Waterproof and the cats are not able to destroy these mats. We have them at every door ouside and inside

I love this mat! My last waterhog (which this mat replaced) is 30 years old & was still going strong but I changed my colours in my mud room. Holds water & snow from boots & the dogs feet. Looks good, works great. recommend

Obsessed with these mats! I bought one to see what it was like and immediately purchased a second. They’re nice and big, super durable, vaccum nicley and they don’t slip and slide all over the place! I bought brown and they were true to colour.

Great entrance rug. Lived up to my expectations. I would buy again
