Best support for the back end of the dog!
Nice durable material, designed to fit like panties or shorts so you can lift the hind end and hips. This helps better than slings that lift from the stomach. I used it successfully with one of our dog many years ago. This is why I purposely bought this style for one of our current dogs. I was in a hurry to get this because of my dog’s immediate need. So I bought two sizes after measuring her. One is too small and the other is too big and I have to use the adjustable buckles on top. It has a tendency to dangle or fall off so I have to hold onto the handles while she’s walking and peeing. It’s good to have on all the time if your dog is having weakness in the back end so you can lift it as she tries to get up. But in my case it would end up sliding off if she moved around on her own. Still I think this design is more comfortable for the dog when lifting the back end. You can also use it for support as your dog walks up a ramp. If you can afford it get two sizes but they say you can’t return if you tried it on. Still this is a very good option.

My dog passed away before it came but looked and felt sturdy enough for my big girl
My dog passed away 2 days before this arrived so I have returned and cannot attest to how well it works. I can say it looked and felt of good quality through the clear wrapping. The return process has been seamless so far (I should have my refund soon) and customer service was very kind.

Helps….
…to lift my old arthritic dog when he is on a slippery surface. NOT an easy thing to get on him, and unless tied/strapped to his chest halter, simply falls off his backend.

This is a GREAT product but…
Our dog just had spinal surgery and we had to help him to get outside while he recovers. Eventually we got a harness we could leave on him – but we needed this for the first month because the harness laid across his back where the stitches were. So, we used this for about a month before making the switch. GREAT PRODUCT! Washable. WARNING – My vet said, go ahead and leave it on him, you don’t have to change it every time. Don’t you believe it! It gets wet and then it started to make sores in the creases of his legs! Take it off every time to dry out and wash it every other day or so and you should be fine.

Needing Assistance Dod Harness
Good quality but, not sturdy enough to stay on and support your dog. I return it with no hassle from the Seller. Great Customer Service for returns. Arrived on time, came securely. I do recommend this Seller for great Customer Service.

Not practical for male old dog
Pee caught on diaper easily, because no space for penis to hang out

This was a life and back saver for us and for our 15+ year old black lab. It helped him ALOT!!!
Liked that this product helped him remain mobile and he could still enjoy a walk and going outside even though he didnât have e full use of his back legs. This product is best! We tried several! Highly recommended.

Wish it wasn’t needed
My dog paralyzed her back end crushing discs and had to have surgery and rehab. It was kind of difficult to put on an uncooperative pet just to go out to pee, but was beneficial to take her for rehab appointments. She did not complain about discomfort or show any signs of chaffing or constriction, but the leash part could be slightly longer for the comfort of the taller handler. She only needed it for a month and altho the cost exceeded the need, I hope she doesn’t need it again. It did serve it’s purpose

Lo hemos comprado para ayudar a un basset operado de la espalda. Funciona bastante bien pero resulta bajo. Las cintas para manejarlo deberÃan ser más largas para este tipo de perros. Para más altos irán perfectos

Only giving 3 stars because of the fit for my dog specifically. Still the best I’ve seen and a really good design. Ordered a large for my big Dobermann boy and did measure but could have done with a medium waist with large leg holes. Although both were in the middle of the large size measurements the large is a bit saggy but the size down would have been too small for his legs. Again this will be different depending on build and breed. Strong but soft material, straps and stitching holding so far on a 48kg dog but only used it for two days. Not suitable for use more than maybe 10- 15 min constantly in my opinion on a heavier dog as it will still dig in. I am just using it a few times a day to keep him moving until we know what we’re dealing with and trialing treatments and so he still goes out every day. He has full feeling but is collapsing at the back after an over boisterous jump and roll. Peeing is fine but the size is a bit loose for poop without interfering so we take him with two scarves to make sure he can poop.I would have gone for the size down if I’d tried them but again only suitable for a short walk with a large dog.
