Durable Materials: Made of durable PVC and PET film designed to meet MET standards; Far-infrared heating technology facilitates better resistance to high pressure; The IP67-rated waterproof surface is safe to scrub and helps keep the device clean and functioning properly
Dual Digital Display: This thermostat comes with an adjustment function allows users to set the desired temperature according to the needs of their plants—it’s simple and convenient to use; It also receives data from the internal sensor chip and displays the temperature of the heating pad in real-time
Even Heating in a Larger Heating Area: This heating pad uses advanced far-infrared heating technology to provide consistent and even heat; This technology expands the heating area in order to create more optimal conditions for accelerating plant growth; The durable, reinforced heating film comes with double insulation to ensure that the heat will not scorch the roots
Innovative Heating: When the heating mat is in an environment with temperatures ranging from 20-25℃ (68-77℉), it can heat up to 40℃ (104℉) in a few minutes by radiating far-infrared light waves; The maximum temperature setting is 122℉, and it includes built-in overheating protection that automatically powers off the pad when the temperature is too high
Easy to Use and Store: To use it, just flatten and place it under your seedling tray, and then plug the power cord into a standard 120V outlet to start heating; The digital controller has a 3-button interface, making the pad easy to operate and calibrate; The heat mat is stretchable and flexible, so it’s easy to fold and store without taking up much space

2 Terrible Experiences: Wrong Mat, Dirty, Stained, and One That Doesnât Work
I ordered the VIVOSUN seedling heat mat with built in temperature controller from Amazon. The first one I ordered was not heating up. Then, I returned that one and received a replacement and it was the wrong heat mat. It was too small, and it did not have the temperature controller on the cord. It also had stains on it. Iâm very frustrated with my experience.Unfortunately, I have had two terrible experiences with this product. All my plants are currently dying. I was going to buy another mat since they were supposedly suppose to work so well. Yet, I have had awful encounters with their product during both experiences of purchasing it. I do not want to buy a second 10×20.75 built in temperature controller heat mat and have the same or similar problems with one or both of your products. For my trouble, you would think their customer service would be able to compensate for this situation by giving me a better mat. Especially, to ensure I do not have the same problem if I wanted to buy an additional mat. Yet, VIVOSUN stopped responding to my emails completely. And they still havenât given me a better product.

Crank it
I’m using the heat mat as a way to keep some warm loving orchids, propagations, and ICU plants warm during the winter. I bought 4 cheap thermometers to dial in the set temp. As you can see, the far thermometer says a room temp of 65° (which is actually closer to 63° – that one ran a couple degrees hotter than the others).I originally set the heat mat to 75° and couldn’t feel any heat. After some trial an error, the 110° setting has the other three thermometers in the 70-75° range. One is sitting inside the tray (74°), one has a probe buried in the middle of an African violet pot (73°), and one is as deep in the middle of the sphagnum moss of the orchid as I could get it, about the depth of the 1â probe (70°).Can’t speak to germination, but if you’re buying this to keep plants warm, don’t be afraid to crank up the heat far above where you actually want it. You may need to experiment a bit – I have mine in pots inside a tray, so maybe there’s some heat loss associated with that – but if it doesn’t feel warm it probably *isn’t* warm despite what the built-in reader says.It works, but it would be nice if it was more accurate.

Only plugged in for 2 days.
So far this heating mat is working great. You have to play with the thermostat adjuster to get the correct temperature. I would recommend a thermostat to go inside of your seedling trays or someway to monitor actual soul temperature. That way you can adjust the heating mat accordingly.

It can be much more than a seedlng heat mat.
I insulated the battery box in out RV after changing to LiFpo batteries that should not be charged when cold. There wasn’t a lot of extra room but I slipped this mat down alongside the batteries and left the thermostat in the box with the plug outside the box connected to an extension cord. With thermostat set on 75 the batteries stayed at 56 degrees and last nights low was 25.3 at 0500 this morning. Can’t say how long it might last, but this is exactly what I wanted it to do. The mat is not under the batteries but in the airspace alongside them.

It’s ok
I don’t think the thermostat is correct at all and it doesn’t heat very thoroughly..mostly on the very ends.

The thermostat works good on this heat mat, although the picture does show that it comes in a burlap sack to fold it up and put it away with it doesnât come with that
