Easy to Use and Doubles as a Dog Bed
I recently had the pleasure of babysitting my granddoggie while my daughter was out of town. Having never used a doggie car seat before but recalling the complicated baby car seats of decades ago, I was prepared for a fight. This doggie car seat was easy to install in the front seat of my car, easy to remove, and small and lightweight enough to easily bring in the house after running errands. My pampered puppygirl found it so comfortable that she also used the car seat as a doggie bed. This car seat worked for the week that I needed it.

Great seat for dogs!
This was a great deal for the price. Seat is super soft, you are able to strap it down using the seat belt in the car. Another strap secures to head rest and there is a strap to hook to your dogs collar. I ordered this because it looked comfy and I wanted to help teach my dog how to stay in âhisâ seat and not try to get in my lap while driving and this seat is perfect! Great buy, super comfy for a pup

Good for getting my old dog to the vet by myself.
Usually I have my husband drive me while I hold the dog in my lap. We have a nylon dog “pen” thing that has sides that are mesh and zip around. It’s the size of a carrier so that is what we’ve always used in the car. But it doesn’t fit in the front seat and he has a lot of anxiety if I put him in it in the back. At his age (his littermate just died last month), I don’t want to put any stress on him (or my husband) that isn’t needed. He is small and doesn’t jump, so this works well for him. I don’t even need to hook his collar up to it, but if he were remotely active, I definitely would hook him up. I’m not sure about that safety feature for really active dogs. I think they’d jump and then just choke themselves, so I’m not sure about a great solution for that.The thing I like about this one is the depth. With the cushion in, I think there are about 10 inches to the top (vs only 5 or so for some), which might be better for deterring a dog from trying to jump out. The one thing I am not fond of is that it isn’t secured very well. There is only a strap that essentially goes around the headrest. I wish it had straps around the body of it that you could put the seatbelt through. It wouldn’t help much in an accident but it might do a better job of keeping it in place if you were to have to brake quickly. I think that is something I’ll keep my eye out for if I look at other options.So for my old pomeranian, I can put him in this and he’ll sit more or less happily there in the front with me when I need to take him somewhere.

This thing is exactly what we needed for our little pup. She wants to sit up front with us and itâs the perfect size for her to sit up or lay down comfortably. She loves it so much.

Not very secure
This looks great, love the color, the removable cushion, and the overall looks. Functionally though, it does not strap in securely. I thought it had a sleeve across the back to run a seatbelt through but it doesn’t. Only way to secure is with the tether around the head rest and a clip to secure our pup.It would definitely be 5 stars if there was a way to clip it through the seat belts.

I like to travel long distances with my dog. Finding the “right” dog seat isn’t easy. My dog is super picky, and he likes his beds to be secure, firm, and soft.I like this car seat, it fits perfectly in the front seat when I want him to be upfront with me.This dog seat was a score!! My dog loves being in it, and it’s literally the perfect size for my 15-pound Chihuahua/Pitbull mix. He looks like he feels safe in the secure seat walls that are firm and soft and made out of a Thick resistance sponge foam.I also like the thickness of the booster cushion, it’s a few inches thick, and the seat cover zips off and makes it easy to wash.I got the black color, the stitching that goes around the seat is thick and gives a cool designer look.I totally dig it! I am happy that I chose this one, The price is totally worth all that is included with this dog bed.
