Slows her down.
We have a rescue dog that was starving for too long and now she eats everything too fast. We bought this bowl to slow her down and it does help. She tries chewing on some, but overall it has helped her not to just swallow her food. I would recommend this for a dog with an eating disorder like this.

Decent slow feeder
We made the mistake of not buying a slow feeder insert with our girl dogâs tray because she did so well eating slow; well, sometimes she goes in a frenzy eating lol so we added this. Super cute, just wish there was different size options: we liked this one best so we went with it but we needed just a bit smaller to fit her tray perfect.

Higher hopes but still a good bowl for other dogs
This bowl isnât intended for large breed brachycephalic dogs at all. My Boxer was hardly able to get 5-10 kibbles from it since the raised walls are so tall and close together. I think it would be great for smaller dogs and large dogs with normal sized snooters, though. We originally bought it for our girl to freeze her meals as extra enrichment since itâs a softer, food-grade silicone, but her jowls are too wide to fit, unfortunately.

Great mat but questionable suction cups
This is the best lick map Iâve gotten so far, and I have a lot of lick mats. I have two big dogs – a 90+ lb German Shepherd, and a 45 lb shepherd/husky mix and Iâm always looking for something new and fun for them. The issue Iâve always had with lick mats is what a mess they are to clean up. This is the best lick mat Iâve gotten because itâs great for the dogs, but itâs also super easy to clean. I donât have to soak it overnight. I just do a quick scrub and then throw it in the dishwasher. Best of all, both of my girls love it.While I donât need the suction cups to work to make me love this product, itâs important to know it does not stick on all tile. My house has two different types of tile and the suction cups donât stick to either of them. This, however, is not a dealbreaker for me by any means.I found this lick mat to be a great value for the price.
