Works great
Having Shih Tzu’s, other owners know that hot spots can be a problem with the breed. This spray, though not perfect, seems to be the best of the bunch in helping to control the itching.

Seems to Work
Seems to stop the hotspot itch my dog had at the time but it is very thin and doesn’t spray well, making a mess wherever you are spraying, causing wasted product which isn’t cheap. I suggest removing the sprayer and pouring a small amount into your hand then applying into your pet’s coat, otherwise, expect to have it running all down you fingers and hand from the spray pump. I ended up putting a towel under my dog when applying.

Great product
This product is excellent. Spray it underneath your pets, arms, or into their paws to get rid of yeast and itching issues. It also works well on their body if they develop hotspots or places that they will not stop scratching/chewing.

Irritated my dog more
I use a different brand chlorahexadine and ketoconizole shampoo and it really soothes my dogs itch and redness. This stuff supposedly has similar medication but you would think it was alcohol. It makes dog scratch and naw more. He also paces the floor after I put it on like he is trying to walk off the irritation. May not be like that for everyone but Iâve seen similar reviews on here and wanted to warn people. Veterinary formula hot spot at Walmart has worked the best so far when following the directions.Edit: the company reached out to me and apologized and offered refund. Verdict. Try it out. Maybe it will work like most reviews but if not the company is understanding and has good communication.
