I wish I had taken a before/after picture to prove how much this product helped my dog! We have no see ums, yeah who knew. Moved from N to S and I am learning. These bugs bite you and really sting but you don’t see a bite. For people you can peroxide the area and have restraint waiting for the sting to subside. For dogs I personally believe this makes them bite until raw which then is deemed a ‘hot spot’. That is my assessment. The vet gave me a product that, eh, stings when sprayed on my dog and he looks in pain.I tried an OTC antibiotic with a wrap but he kept finding time to expose and lick it raw again. No collar works because the spot is low on the leg. I was thinking the tube of a sock but then found this product with rave reviews. Thank you reviewers!! I knew this is a Summer thing and will be constant so I wanted to find a cure all and I think I did!I sprayed on the wound and Fletch did feel the sting but the reaction was not as intense by any means as the other vet product. The second amazing thing was that within hours, no lie, the red, raw wound had no redness at all! Yes, there is a small area that has to scab over and heal but honestly it has been a few days and he is not bothering it like he did before and I am confident it will now heal.I spray while we are outside and I have small treats as a distraction when it stings so he won’t immediately lick it. I walk with him to also let the spray penetrate. Great product!!!

This product is absolutely amazing! Our large dog developed a hot spot between his toes. The wound was seeping and itching and he would not leave it alone. I ordered a bottle of this (the lowest price by far on Amazon-my local corporate pet store wants $18 for 3 oz!) and it arrived the following day. As soon as I sprayed it on the wound, my dog was clearly more comfortable. He sniffed it but did not lick or chew so I did not use a cone on him. Within 3 days, it was remarkable better and I could tell that he felt better. THEN one night he decided to chew and lick the toe. The next morning it was an open wound! GRR! I sprayed the toes and webbing of his paw, sprayed some non-stick gauze until dripping, placed the gauze in between the toes, wrapped in gauze and taped a baby sock to his leg to cover it. We try to avoid the cone as much as possible because our boy is clumsy and large and our home is small. Surprisingly, he left it alone. After another 2 days of spraying and rewrapping the paw twice daily, it is at least 80% healed! The friend that recommended this product found it when she adopted a dog that had a badly imbedded collar then used it on her other dog that gets the worst hotspots due to allergies. It worked miracles on her dogs.I dropped the bottle last night and broke the sprayer head (womp-womp) now it won’t spray and I cannot get the top off to replace sprayer. I reached out to Amazon and started the process of returning then went ahead and ordered a replacement bottle. I’m so grateful for next-day delivery!I do want to respond to the reviews stating this is bleach. IT IS NOT! It is made with a component of household bleach so it does have a similar smell. I wear dark colors (mostly black) and this product has not caused any damage to my clothing or my dog’s bedding. The people stating otherwise really should remove their reviews because it is simply not true.As a former Veterinary Tech, my advice is this: If you have dogs or cats, you NEED this product in your medicine cabinet at all times. I will never be without it again.

About a year ago I came across a stray kitten that lived in my grandparents land. I purchased the one for cats and in just a couple days her wound was healed. A wound that a vet said was “infected”. She healed so quickly I was amazed! Recently my pup got clipped with clippers from her groomers and I purchased this for her. The next day she was moving and playing! This stuff truly works. I’m honestly grateful.

Recommending this to your cats. This really works, I was skeptical and had to buy this immediately due to wound that bothering one of my cats.And this worked. Have not noticed any type of itching feeling on the cat which was great.
