    Another great choice
This is one (of 2) of the best treat dispensers we’ve ever had, and our cats love it! It’s very easy to fill and holds a decent amount of treats, but the best part is that the hole size is easily adjusted for different sizes of treats. It’s well made and -heavy so it wobbles like a Weeble.

Requires a bit of DIY with aggressively enthusiastic intelligent cats
We adopted a kitten from our local rescue and quickly discovered that he needed much more mental stimulation than all our previous cats. He’s also very treat/food oriented but he didn’t really care for just eating dry food from a bowl or many treats from our hands so we thought we’d give this a try. It’s easy to fill, put together, clean, etc. Perhaps too easy for our aggressively enthusiastic Tuxie, Spock. He had it apart in less than 30 seconds. He had picked it up and dropped it several times causing one of the 2 top sections to become dislodged. So, I taped the top sections together, refilled it and gave it back to him. Again he had it apart very quickly, in less than a minute. He had figured out how to pull the silicone ring up towards the head which is more narrow. As you can tell from the photos I had to resort to strips of duct tape to hold all 4 pieces together. It takes longer now to clean it and put it back together, but now he cannot just rip it open and empty it quickly. So, with the tape it takes him hours to empty it. I fill it with some of his dry food pieces and a few treats of different sizes. When he tires of working so hard to get them all out he goes to his bowl. We do have another type/style of play & dispense treat toy, and while he cannot get it apart he can get those treats out too fast so he enjoys this mouse more, even though he’s very rough on it. The silicone is the only part that he could break, but the duct tape will still keep it together. The low rating for durability is for this silicone ring. It is still an incredible value.

    This toy will last!
this is not flimsy! It is probably the most solid cat toy I have ever encountered, and because it is weighted, it does not move far, so it is less ephemeral than most cat toys. It dispenses Greenies treats just fine – I don’t even open it, but just pop the treats through the little exit hole. My cat thinks it is ok – he is used to a lot of treat-dispensing toys, and this one is as appreciated as all the others. It takes a moment to disassemble it, but there really is only one way to fit it together, and it’s easy.

Heavy piece of plastic without room for treats
Can’t believe this thing is actually marketable! There’s little to no room for treats or food at all. Plus, it’s difficult to open. Not for my cats!

    Slows the cat down
I have a Temptations loving kitty who, if I put her treats down at once she’ll consume them as if she were a vacuum! Of course, she’s also spoiled and overweight so in my attempt to help her lose weight I purchased “Pengi”. It does take her some time to get to the treats but she is forced to take her time.

This does what it’s supposed to.
I found this hard to put together and cleaning is not that easy. But it dispenses the food so the cat slows he’s eating. Not as good as a previous dispensar I had that was more like a weeble wobble egg, this spins and rolls around.

    Bit of an awkward design
Bit awkward for filling. Maybe of interest to other cats but our two got bored with it quickly. It is also rather noisy on hardwood floors but that is to be expected.

    A treat ball that works!
I read all the reviews before ordering, saved the directions on the package, opened the mouse up, put kibble in, and the boys play with it to get treats! Oscar & Levon are twins except that Levon is 15 lbs to his smaller brother’s 12 and he’s on a diet. So it figures he’d be the one more interested! The first time I put it down, I left the hole wide open so kibble would fall out and they could see how it dispensed food. Then I started making the opening more narrow. I put the mouse down between feedings when Levon starts meowing about an hour before mealtime. The mouse distracts him! It’s like a Weeble toy from when I was a kid–the bottom is heavily weighted and it wobbles back & forth. I pick it up when they’re not whacking it, because I’m afraid they’ll send it down the stairs.

My cat absolutely loves this! Purchased this same product from a different store a few years ago, but now the band is starting to break. Now, it’s not found in stores. Was very glad to be able to finally get a replacement.

I don’t like how you put the treats in it but it is robust and works well. My cats love it.

My cat loves to play with this toy! She has to work to get a treat which helps her to slow down when eating. It maintains her interest and curiosity. It is also great because the slot size is adjustable and will accommodate different sizes of kibble/treats.
