they work really well for old dogs with slippery feet or too long of claws for hardwood floors.
My cocker spaniel made it to 17.5 this year. Her claws became a real problem – they became soft and brittle with age. Really hard to keep them trimmed. I also have that fabricated hardwood flooring that make SO much noise when she would walk on it… or worse: pace in the evenings. I wanted to scream with the clickety-clickety clickety of it all the time. And I didnt want to be sharp with her, she couldnt help it.These work amazingly well for keeping noisy clickety claws quiet AND old dogs retaining their balance on slippery floors as they get arthritis in their legs etc.. She LOVD them. I wish Id gotten them earlier. She didnt even notice them, all she noticed was being able to trot again on the flooring in here and dance about again without falling.Just buy them. You cant make anything better than these, I tried. It was the most amazing gift for her to be able to prance and dance again.

Look cute and feel good but they are too small for my medium-sized dog or even a puppy, although I bought the large ones. Would be fine for a Yorkie or maybe a Jack Russel, but not a larger dog.
