High quality collar
Heavy quality, nice easy clasp. Pretty colors. A tiny bit big, but hoping it can still work, as I only walk them with our terriers on harness anyway.

Best collar ever
We have gone through so many collars but this one has lasted the longest. We’ve had it for over a year and it still looks new. Machine washable. It doesn’t fray. Both of my dogs have one now. I will only buy this dog collar brand from now on.

Extremely Sturdy Build
The collar looks very sturdy and built well. Not to mention the red collar is very bright and just looks great. Letâs see how well it stands up to heavy use, but with the lifetime warranty I feel confident it will last.

Hero vs Kong – One Person’s Opinion
I haven’t actually used this collar on my pup, Clay, yet primarily because I had gotten a Kong Padded Comfort Collar from PetSmart right after ordering the Hero collar, and bought the Kong only because I saw it and he needed a collar that fit pronto (explained later). That said, they are both basically built with the same heavy duty nylon, fast release buckle, reflective, solid leash ring and a separate ring for ID, license etc.. Where they differ is the Kong is Neoprene lined (on the inner surface) so it appears to be just a little softer against his neck (that is my human opinion, not his), and, with the size and composition of the tag ring. The Kong is a metal ‘D’ ring with the accessible opening measuring approximately 14mm (on the straight leg) by 10mm (the width of the bow). The Hero is some form of composite material with a round accessible opening measuring 7mm in diameter. They also differ in price, the Kong was $17.99, the Hero $11.96. If you are attaching a single tag of any type the Hero would probably be just fine. In my case I have attached a name tag, license and rabies vaccination tag all on the one ‘D’ ring, and no, they really don’t jingle. My two complaints, about both collars, is that they both have the tag ring a quarter of the way around from the leash ring (think leash ring at 12:00 and the tag ring at 3:00). Maybe it is intentional so that when the leash is attached the tags are not hanging straight down (at the 6:00 position) but I am not sure why that would matter as a tags on a collar can get stuck on ‘underbrush and bushes’ regardless of position, which Hero mentions as a feature of keeping the tags safe while exploring by placing the tags close to the collar. I would have preferred the tag ring at the 6:00 position so there is no chance of accidentally clipping a leash to a tag jump ring (which has happened to my wife and caused the ring to open to the point that it unknowingly uncurled and left the ends poking into Clay’s neck when he later was off leash at home. This was actually the reason we bought the Kong collar when we saw, rather than just waiting for the Hero to be delivered, as it replaced a standard collar with only a leash ring and no separate tag ring). My second complaint is why neither of them, or any other collar manufacturer, make a collar with 2 separated tag rings, in addition to the leash ring, for attaching multiple tags and spread out so that they are not all in one location on the collar. It is not easy getting 3 tags on one ring.
Love my new Tuff Pupper collar. Itâs sturdy and love the color –

Will make your dog feel like a million bucks! Thr collar is tough, sturdy and well made
I just recieved my dog’s collar. It feels well made and sturdy, the buckle feels like it is strong enough for my excitable 1 year old pup. I really like that there is a seprate ring to put the tags on and the ring for the leash feels like it will be very secure. The adjustment was easy and fits him well, it will also grow with him.My dog feels like a handsome and proud boy in it too!

Careful with this product! Weâve put this on our growing puppy as he outgrew the smaller one (different brand). On our first walk with it, the collar came undone and dog was loose. The plastic clip that closes the collar seems cheaply made so even though the anchor to attach the leash is made of metal, this product seems to be a massive hasard. Iâve contacted the seller, will update my review if I hear back from them.
