Nice and fresh breath
My cat seems to like it, at least she doesn’t run away when she sees me putting it on the brush. I can’t imagine using a toothpaste that smells like chicken, beef or fish like many of them.

Seems to be working, pump bad for amount needed
Cat drinks it as he normally would âregularâ water, very little needed, seems to have slightly better breath. However, the pump could be much better for dispensing a small amount of âdropsâ (can easily put too much in and waste it.) Minus one star for pump design.

My cat Artemis has had some rank breath and Iâve noticed her teeth may need to be cleaned. It is going to be ab a month before I can get her to the vet so I figured Iâd try some home care in the mean time. Boy do I wish I hadnât. This stuff made her sick. She started going away and keeping to herself. I knew something was wrong w my little girl. Sheâs usually my calico shadow. I stopped giving her this crap bc it was the only change I had made. Within a few days she started getting back to her normal sweet and loving self. Only now I have to deal w her aversion to drinking out of her water bowl. She only wants water out of the faucet. Itâs simply not worth it imo.

Cats hate it, but it does keep their teeth clean!
First of all, my cats hate this stuff. Pretty sure your cat will, too. So if you’re not willing to wrestle your cat into submission, steer clear, lol. We use this once a day, one droplet on each side of the mouth for effectiveness. Two days a week we will use a toothbrush and this gel to brush their teeth, too. During vet visits, they complimented on how clean our cats’ teeth were, so it is doing something, though it could be just the brushing that does it. They’ve never had any ill effects from the gel, other than hating the flavor (sometimes, one of our cats drools a little to get the taste out of their mouth, so this may happen with yours).

My cats are very deterred by the mint flavour (which makes no sense for *cats*). I usually get the malt flavour for them from the vet, but one doesnât like the malt & canât have poultry, so I was seeking an alternative. Obviously, this was a bust.I did give three stars for the toothbrush though! My one cat, Binks, LOVES it. Itâs unique in design and definitely gets both sides of the tooth (even though the front is most important). I can always use more of the finger brushes for the youngest, who hates toothbrushes.

I donât know about you but there is no way my cats will let me effectively brush their teeth, I can however hold them for a second and put a squirt of this in their mouths. My older cat had quite a bit of plaque build-up on his teeth at his last check-up a year ago however this year the vet said his teeth were looking great! I definitely think this is why, will purchase again however a bottle easily lasts more than a year for two cats when you use it once per week!
