My dog loves this but I wish you could turn the lights off.
This ended up being a great treat toy for my small dog. I thought it would be too bg, but he loves it.

Avery & Rose Take On the ESGPET Treat Dispensing Toy
**Avery:** Hello, friends! Avery the Black Lab here, ready to talk about a toy that promised hours of entertainment but, sadly, only lasted a single day in our paws. Joining me is my partner in crime, Rose the German Shepherd, who really put this one through its paces.**Rose:** Thatâs right, Avery! Itâs the ESGPET Treat Dispensing Dog Toyâa bright, flashy, treat-filled challenge that kept us busy… briefly.—**Feature Highlights****Avery:** Letâs start with the positives. This toy is a multitasker, featuring a âsteering wheelâ shape for easy gripping, bone-shaped treat holes to dispense kibble, and even a light-up function that activates when tapped. For pups who like variety, this toy delivers on engagement.**Rose:** The light-up ball in the middle? Genius. It glows for 15 seconds when you hit it, and let me tell you, that flashing really got my attention. I was all inâpaws, teeth, and tail wagging. Plus, the treat-dispensing feature made snack time feel like a game.—**The Good:****Avery:** The slow-feeder design is smart. With three treat holes, it turned snacking into a puzzle, slowing down meal times and giving me a little mental workout. For smaller or medium dogs who need to pace themselves, this feature could be a real game-changer.**Rose:** And letâs not forget the tug-of-war potential! That steering wheel design meant I could grab it while our human held the other side. It was a fun way to play indoors or out, and it kept me from eyeing shoes or furniture for chewing.—**The Not-So-Good:****Avery:** While itâs advertised as durable, the reality didnât quite match up for us. After just one day, the toy met its untimely demise under Roseâs enthusiastic chewing.**Rose:** What can I say? I have a knack for testing limits! The material just couldnât hold up, especially around the treat holes. By bedtime, the âindestructibleâ toy was ready for the trash bin.**Avery:** Another thing to noteâthe light-up feature uses non-replaceable button batteries. Itâs fun while it lasts, but once those eight hours are up, itâs game over for the glowing gimmick.—**The Verdict:****Avery:** For smaller or less aggressive chewers, the ESGPET Treat Dispensing Dog Toy could be a great boredom buster. Itâs engaging, interactive, and encourages slower eating habits.**Rose:** But if youâre a power chewer like me, be warnedâitâs not built to last. The toyâs playtime appeal is fantastic, but the lifespan leaves a lot to be desired.**Avery:** Agreed. Itâs a solid option for light use but doesnât quite make the grade for durability.—**Final Woofs:****Avery:** Iâm giving this toy **two paws up for creativity and engagement** but docking points for its short lifespan.**Rose:** Iâll give it **one paw up and a head tilt**âit was super fun while it lasted, but I wish it could have taken more of a beating.**Avery:** Bottom line: If your pup is a casual chewer, itâs worth the price tag for the entertainment value. For heavy chewers like Rose? You might want to look elsewhere.Until next time,**Avery & Rose**

Excellent Toy And Slow Feeder
i have a very small dog and it has been challenging to find slow feeders that are a size that he can manipulate. This one is perfect. He loves the steering wheel rim and can carry it easily in his teeth as he trots all around the house. The dispensing holes are a good size and the food pellets go in and come out easily. This also is a great toy for fetching as it rolls like a wheel across the floor. Both my pup and I are very happy with this item!

Good for small dogs or non aggressive chewers
My dog has been keeping busy all morning with this thing. I stuffed it with some of her favorite treats and she’s on a mission to get them all out. She also enjoyed playing a little tug o war with it for a few minutes before getting down to the nitty gritty of treat retrieval. I’m down rating, though, because of the unnecessary light up aspect of this toy. It cannot be opened and removed and is powered by a button battery. If you have an aggressive chewer, I would not give them this because they might be able to chew it open and swallow that battery. This piece seems so unnecessary and you need to supervise closely with any dog playing with this because of the battery. Why does it need to randomly light up?

Great Dog Toy to keep them engaged, chewing, and working treats out.
My dog loves this toy. I am amazed she was quickly able to extract the bits of dehydrated chicken strips despite their hardness. It lights up when dropped so thatâs not often but the internal battery will probably wear out after a month or so. She seemed to just really enjoy the hard rubber ring around the blue plastic food dispenser so it serves multiple uses for a chewy dog. Great toy and wonderful entertainment.

Not for chewers
Did not last a full 5 minutes with my 50 lbs. pit.

Sturdy, takes small treats or you have to break them up to fit
The toy itself is sturdy and I like the lights. My puppy was barking at it and jumping around it. I wasn’t sure the treats would come out of it at all but I was able to break his treats into small pieces and then they were able to come out.

Epic Fail
20 minutes tops. Minimal to no instructions. The blue plastic where the treats are housed is very thin and flimsy. This does make it easy to get treats/food in but not to keep a dog from tearing open the hemisphere. The side that houses the light is only a little more solid but was not the target the dog took to. As you can see in the photo the dog found the weakness in this hemisphere and crushed the pieces that make up the light. When the integrity was lost to the we cut off what was left of the treat hemisphere to see if the rest of the toy would remain intact. It did not.
