Al inicio pensé que esta cobija no calentaba porque al ponerla al nivel más alto la tocaba se siente tibia. Hasta que me acosté en ella y me sentà muy muy caliente tuve que bajar al nivel 4 para estar calientita cómoda. Ahora entiendo porque no es súper caliente al tocarla ya que a los perros no les gusta una cama súper caliente a mis perros les gusta mucho su cobija eléctrica se las pongo en nivel 3 y se duermen en ella cuando hace mucho frÃo, les sugiero que ponga una cobijita arriba de la colchoneta para que no se sienta demasiado caliente para su mascota

Bought 2 of these…. don’t bother.
I bought 2 because I had 2 litters on the way soon. They both worked so it seemed and I thought we were in a good position for the litters arrival. Well let’s just make this short. They worked about 5 days on one and maybe up to 9 days on the 2nd. They barely had any type of heat but I had to have something for when momma had to go out so I kept them telling myself I would have to return after. I got my own heat pads out and a tiny one from a friend that worked great. When the time came when I wasn’t desperately needing them I was too busy with 2 litters to leave my house to return them. It was too late by the time I had free days to leave my puppies and other errands took presidence, I’m so mad at myself. When you buy 2 at once it’s over 100 I lost out on with these. You might think your all set like I did, but you will eventually loose out on your money. Yes they worked for a VERY, VERY short time but not enough to spend this kind of money for 2. Now I have to do this again, better buy in enough time to make sure they will stay working.

I researched heated mats and beds for Debra and Dexter with concerns regarding fire hazards/safety. I settled on these due to the high ratings and price was reasonable. I literally took these out of the plastic and plugged them and WHAM!! the cats got on them. I chose the smallest size and even though Debra is 16 pounds -sheâs so fluffy, she manages to fit on it or she lays half on half off if she gets too warm. She even likes to lay next to it. The timer settings are great as you can leave it on the whole time or use the 4,8, or 12 hr timer. The heat setting goes up to 6 but I have found 3 to be enough for mine. I am not ashamed to say this but when one is unoccupied I slide it behind my back on the couch while I watch tv..ahhhh. Helps the back. Cats and I are very happy with this product. Even got a friend to buy one for her older dog who has trouble getting up in the morning. Really who wants to get out of bed to go potty? Now his body is all warmed up and ready to move.After 40 days one keeps going off and just blinks on controller. So out of the two one is still working with no problems. Because of this I am changing the five stars to 4.

A bit of a chemically smell at first but it dissipated within a day. Rudy, age 13, loves it. I especially like the numerous heat settings and the opportunity for a 1 – 24 hour cycle.
