Eye care
These little comb/brush combos are pretty good! They help me clean up my little dogâs eye boogers. She loves to walk through the garden and gets lots of debris in her eyes. These are small enough to get near her eyes/nose and clean her up. You have to be careful because the comb is very sharp and will cut easily. I rounded the ends with a nail file. Otherwise I love these and recommend them.

I love it!
I use these to comb out the hair around the face of my Maltese before I clean his face and the tear stains. I first comb the hair with my regular grooming comb. The comb on this one is very small. If you just try to use the tiny comb, you will be pulling the hair due to little snags we canât see. I also use the comb and brush to distribute the tear stain medication throughout the face. It helps a lot. I love this because it is small. It is easy to use on the face.

They help keep tear stains under control
I like these little comb/brushes generally. I would hesitate to use them with a dog that is not used to having their face held and worked on to keep it clean because the comb part could easily slip and injure an eye. Fortunately my little Havanese is used to me cleaning around her eyes and this little tool is a great help. It gently lifts and removes dried “tears” and gently brushed the hair away from the tear ducts. I find it a valuable tool in keeping her groomed.

Convenient and does the job
As with Hidester, I found the comb to be sharp. It is a bit too fine so it easily snags on micro knots in the fur that makes our dog jump and pull away. Not ideal when you are trying to groom. The brush works fairly well, but I needed to experiment with angle that I used to find its most effective results. I really like the length of these tools, and the handle is very sturdy.
