Easy to use Dog Carseat!
Nice dog carseat. It was easy to put together; just sliding the plastic “rods” into the frame. The top harness went around the front passenger seat easily and then there is a middle strap that wraps around the seat itself and snugs everything up. Inside the actual seat area there is a short strap to attach to your dog’s collar or better yet, their body harness to keep them from jumping out. The material is made of a washable fabric..looks like it will be easy to wipe off any mess that may happen. The only drawback I can see is I’m not sure this would work on a backseat? Not sure how you could secure the middle strap without having an actual person seat to belt it around??? I have a Cairn terrier who is 15 pounds and she has plenty of room in this seat. Glad I purchased it for her safety.

It started out great as a seat carrier but ended up as a toy holder. The pvc piping was used to keep it sturdy as the original rods collapsed. Still a good product.

Not great for window viewing
I have a small, 6.5. Pound yorki-poo. I bought this hoping I would be able to tighten the straps and have it hang on the seat so she could ride, and look out the window without being in my lap, standing on my legs (and Tummy lol). But it’s too flimsy if it isn’t set right in the cars seat. The bottom will fold up if there is any weight in it and it isn’t set on the seat. Also, the “side rails”, only two are plastic rails which keep it sturdy on those sides. But the front and back rails are just foam and those are also flimsy and make it so it has to be set flush on yhe seat. Other then it being too flimsy to hang (like I wanted), it’s an okay purchase for the price. The straps can adjust easily, the fabric is okay, the size is good and the black and white print is cute and just like the photo. I will be returning and finding something with a more sturdy bottom and top structure so my puppy can look out the window.

in an accident it won’t protect your dog, it has no support at all, dangerous..
Whoever put this together never had a dog or a car! It is flimsy, if your pet cat or dog put their paws up on the side rales it would collapse, the floor has no sound foundation it just sags, the straps are all wrong and there is no rational way to adjust them, I tried for almost an hour to find a way this was meant to be in a car, I have a rear seat carrier for my dog I just wanted a front seat carrier that was easy and quick to use without having to move the rear carrier. This way if a friend wanted to ride with me I could quickly remove the front carrier, NO WAY WOULD I PUT MY BELOVED PET IN THIS POORLY MADE SEAT! Not one part of it is sturdy not even where the pet would sit it just collapses!!, in an accident you could say goodbye to your pet.I am hard on this item because I witnessed an accident where two speeding cars collided and the dog in the rear was thrown into the windshield and died I tried to do CPR on this poor baby but saw the light go out of her eyes. The importance of a good quality carrier rang loud and clear in my heart. as I placed her lifeless body back into the car. Today people are speeding more recklessly than ever, Please secure your pet and if need be keep a knife or scissors to cut them free in case of fire or another collision. Be safe, not sorry. My puppy sits comfortably in the seat. The only other feedback is regarding the leash fitted to the seat.. Its bit long (even in the shortest adjustment) and your puppy may easily find his way out to the other seats.

I had high hopes for this product as a safe way for my puppy to travel in the car. I was 110% wrong. Always check the quality of an item before trusting it to keep your pet safe.The first time my puppy rode in the car seat, it went OK. I noticed the strap that anchored her to the seat came loose. I re-adjusted the strap to be more secure and drove home.The second time was a complete nightmare. I had successfully travelled to a nearby pet store to get supplies. As we’re getting ready to leave, I strap her in the car seat in the backseat diagonally-across from the drivers seat (where I’m sitting). I have the car running and put it into reverse when I hear the worst noise I’ve ever heard in my life. My puppy is crying and screaming and yelping. Within seconds she is strangling herself in the anchor strap that has come so loose that it is at its full length. She continues to twist and wrap herself more as I frantically throw the car in Park, slam my seat as far back as possible and reach to free her. She was so caught up I couldn’t get the clasp to unlatch because it has a stupid plastic lip that kept catching the ring on the harness instead of releasing. My puppy, at this point, has defecated all over herself and is wheezing because she can’t breathe. Luckily, I managed to push her head under the strap that allowed enough give for her to breathe. I was seconds away from witnessing my puppy strangle herself to death in this car seat because the buckle on the anchor was so flimsy all it took was a simple pull for the entire strap to loosen and extend to full length.I really liked this product the first car ride. However, this particular car seat is very poorly made. Please do not purchase, your pets are at risk. I was SO lucky that I wasn’t driving when this happened and that I was able to get her free.DR : very low quality product with defective anchor strap/buckle system nearly strangled my puppy to death, I was very lucky I was able to save her

Seems like my Yorkiepoo is comfortable. Not bulky and light. Good to have
