Love the quality ingredients
I love all the wonderful, organic ingredients in this Super Blend Dog Probiotic Supplement by Cave Pets. I could go on and on about all their great benefits, but what I want to talk about is how my dog likes and responded to it. My boy isn’t a picky eater so I wasn’t too worried about what he’d think of it, and indeed, he didn’t even seem to notice it when I started adding it to his food 1x a day. My boy weighs 60lbs, so according to the directions, his weight calls for 4 tsps per day. Anytime I add something new, I always start slowly, so I started with 1 tsp a day and even at that dose his stools got a little soft, so I backed off for a couple days and am now adding back to his food very gradually again to give him time to adjust to it. The ziptop bag the product comes is a little cumbersome, so I would much prefer this product to come in a bottle with a screw type top that I could open and close easier and that would make accessing and measuring out the daily dosage much easier.

I have concerns
I have concerns with this “Cave Pets, Super Blend Powder, Dog Probiotic Supplement for Immunity and Digestive Health” because I’m not sure it is a wise idea to give our dogs mushroom powder when we have been training them to stay away from the “mushrooms” growing in natural areas to keep them from being poisoned.I also have concerns over where these mushrooms that are turned into this powder come from, and who is picking them. All it takes is one toxic mushroom variety to be included in the mushrooms being manufactured into this product and our dogs can become sick or die. I am not willing to risk our dog’s health on a product that is not a necessity for their health.If the mushrooms are grown in a controlled environment that is overseen by highly trained Mycologists,I might reconsider. The manufacturer should include this information if it is so.The Regenerative Organic Certification is not a certification of the safety and quality of the mushrooms. Search online for the the website of the group that is connected to this certification.It is about the environment,the farmers and the farms.Also note that CavePets does not give any information on the package or their website where the mushrooms are collected,who tests the mushrooms,if they are tested, or any information on what testing they have done.This is a hard pass for me. I gave three stars because of the lack of information and the possibility that the company does have testing information and they can prove that the product is safe and effective for our dogs. If I based the score on just my reaction on the documentation I’d give one star,which is as low as I can go.

I am happy my dog tolerates it and she hasn’t complained yet
It should make a difference for my dog but I wil just have to hope it does. She tolerates it and hasn’t stopped eating so Yay!

My dog digs it!
My dog is a pinky eater, so if there is something new she doesn’t like in her food, she won’t eat the food. But I’ve peen putting this into her food and she doesn’t seem to mind at all! She is only 15 pounds and it says one teaspoon for each 15 pounds of your dog but the front says 90 servings and I don’t think there’s 90 servings in this bag, even at just one teaspoon per day? But perhaps I am simply wrong. Regardless, I would highly recommend this to your pup, especially your aging pup where they need that extra boost to help them in their golden years. Will purchase again!
