TRUE TO SIZE!
Went through 2 others! Furry on the inside, rain/wind proof outside. Covers full very muscular, off built, dog. Wish it had an adjustable band for waist as it does neck (not needed), buy it doesn’t. Holds up in laundry well. Says do not dry but I will after air drying for so long. It holds up fine. He has way short dagger like hairs. They do stick in the under belly area during wash.I will say he just LOVES it, and I’m happy as well!!!

Love this!
My dog is absolutely adorable in this. Is kind of hard to get on and took forever to get to me, so took off a star. Otherwise, I love this!

Fits perfectly so my little dude doesn’t pee on it and keeps him nice and warm.

Very nice jacket!
Love the fact that my dog can’t weasel his way out (like he does the velcro ones) because of the zipper closure! Keeps him warm & dry during the wintery Midwest weather.

9 years of trying different coats…finally a good one…
Preface: My dog is an 11 years old Shiba Inu with weird body proportions and a smaller than usual tail. This always provides a handful of challenges because her chest area is broader and taller than normal and her tail being shorter / closer to her body than normal makes it really hard to find any jackets that fit her right. We live in the Northeastern United States so we get the really cold lake effect driven winters and with her being a senior with all of the aches and pains that comes with that, finding a properly fitting jacket is really important. The Large size jacket according to the size chart would have been too small, but her measurements where between that and an x-large for some, and more between a medium and a large for others, because of this I went with the X-large size and I’m really glad I did. The Size chart is really accurate and it’s always best to go a slight bit bigger than the actual measurement.—–The jacket itself is really well made with a slightly stretchy Corduroy full belly section which made it really easy to get her paws into the holes and the rest of the outer jacket is made of the typical wind/water/snow proof material you’d expect a good winter jacket to be made of. There were no loose threads to worry about and everything was stitched really well. One of the really nice features with this jacket is there’s a single snap on the inside of the jacket that holds it together while you’re trying to zip it closed and a zipper guard strip of fabric so you don’t have to worry about accidently zippering any fur. I have arthritis in my hands and despite being 11 years old she still thinks she’s a puppy so normally anything that zips is hard to do, but that single snap really made all the difference. With other jackets I’ve tried, her tail always end up flipping up the end of the jacket causing her rear end to be exposed in the wind, etc. but with this it’s long enough that it perfectly covers her tail as well, yet didn’t restrict her tail from lifting when it needed to.The jacket has a harness buckle slit, which for most harnesses is perfectly placed and more than ample to fit the buckle through while still checking that section of their back protected. I have a Ruff Wear harness that has a handle along the back that I now have to use to help her up the stairs, so I had to put her harness on the outside of the jacket. This has been an issue with other jackets that have the full chest/belly section because it ends up choking her, but this jacket stayed in place perfectly and caused no issues.the weather when testing the jacket was in the mid 30’s with wind, so right below the temperature that she starts having issues with her mobility because of the cold and she had no stiffness, etc. at all while where this outside so it’s obviously plenty warm enough for her.——-Overall it’s a really well made jacket that really covers a lot of the problems and has some great features that others don’t. As long as the zipper holds up (we all know zippers love to break eventually) and she doesn’t do anything to get a tear in the material, etc. I can definitely see this jacket lasting her the long haul and if it ever does need replacing, this is the one I’ll be sticking with from now on.
