Nicer quality than my own coat (LOL)
This jacket is excellent.I have used several jackets for my 12lb Shih Tzu x Mini Poodle, and by far this is the best. It is also the most expensive I’ve tried, but I can honestly say it is worth the extra cost.This jacket is made to great standards. The inside is lined with plush and abundant fleece that does not shed and holds the heat well. The outer layer is a tightly-woven and moisture-shedding material, with quality seams and ribbed cuffs to ensure a secure fit on my dog’s legs. The long legs on this snowsuit are a *must have* for my small dog: she has such a delicate build and lightweight fur that maintaining her temperature is very important. This snowsuit ensures my dog is warm from neck to ankles with all the details above, as well as a toggle-secured drawstring funnel neck to help customize the fit (my dog is quite slender but she still does great in this suit while nonetheless having room for another layer like a sweater). This snowsuit is fantastic for playing in the snow, and lets my little dog have a blast outside just like her big dog friends! Oh yes–the built-in webbed harness style trim and heavy plastic clip are very handy for keeping a leash on my dog say, to go out to the backyard. (I personally put my dog’s real harness over this coat if she’s going for an actual walk or to be in a situation where she pulls a lot, just to be extra safe.) The zipper is a sturdy plastic one with good sized teeth that seems like it will hold up. She can definitely use the bathroom fine in this, and it’s so poofy on her she waddles a bit and I can hardly handle the cuteness. I’ll post pics asap! Four paws up.

This product is excellent. Well made and warm for sure. Some thoughts:- I have a 18 lb cavapoo. The medium was too tight (probably because the product is thick). The large is a little big on her but it’s perfect nonetheless. I suggest up sizing when you order.- the added ‘harness clasp’ is sewn into the cloth. There’s no real harness embedded. As such, unlikely it will survive heavy use. I just pull her real harness on her around this product.- nice reflective collar- the opening under her belly is the perfect size. Wide enough for her to do her business yet not so wide to defeat the purpose of warmth.- easy zipper

I ordered this jacket for my senior pitbull who just turned 15. Since he is a large dog who has just gotten a little more fragile with age. It is hard to find things that fit him in all aspects. I was very nervous ordering this coat because of the legs as far as how it would fit. I ordered an XXL & he now weights about 65 pounds. It fits absolutely perfectly except for around his back legs they are just a tiny bit roomy. Which I can totally deal with because it fits perfectly everywhere else! This coat is very well made. It is very thick & the fleece on the inside is very warm. It also has faux fur on the inside of the neck which helps keep him extra warm. The neck is even adjustable which I really liked so that I could tighten it so wind doesn’t get through. My one & only issue that I had with this coat is that there is nothing to hold the zipper in place when it is fully zipped all the way up (the coat does not fit my dog extremely tight so this is not the issue). When I tighten the neck straps (or even untightened) the zipper starts to unzip about 4-5 inches. It never goes further but that does not keep my dog warm. I was able to take the string from the tighteners for the neck area & tie it in a knot which kept the zipper zipped up completely & also was not too tight around my dog’s neck. It is a bummer I have to do this with the zipper but that is my only complaint. Other then that I am very happy with this purchase & would recommend if you are ok with the zipper.

I like these. They are pretty good for the money. They fit great. Usually it is hard to find any kind of clothes for my dog. He has long, slender body with big chest, long legs… Usually everything fits super weird and it’s not doable. Well, this is, and it fits great. It seems warm and comfy. He doesn’t complain. 😉 ( Not sure if windproof, though. ) Washes nicely ( I wash them weekly, or even more often if needed ). I don’t use those double D rings, though, the harness-like feature for the leash as I don’t use harness at all. So I don’t know about those, but they seem pretty weak and poorly made, and I wouldn’t dare using them for that if you have a big, strong dog. Maybe only for the smaller ones?What I don’t like the most is that these are absolutely NOT waterproof! Not even water resistant or repellent! So, that’s a pain. They are only for dry water. If it rains, even drizzles, it will soak right into the coat and it will be soaked wet in no time.We like them enough to have a few of these in different colors for the winter. We just use something else for wet weather.EDIT: The black one is definitely smaller than the other colors in the same size ( XXL )! Gave them two chances, from two different sellers. But as I suspected, it has to be the same manufacturer. And they screwed it! They are so small! Such a shame. I like the color. And considering there is no larger size, we can’t just size up. Which I’d recommend! Size up if you’re getting the black one!

Great for my weird sized dog
This snowsuit came in the mail today and it is fantastic quality, thick material that will keep my dog warm. I have a weird sized mixed breed dog, sheâs part dachshund/chihuahua and part mini american shepherd. She is about 21 lbs. Clothing doesnât normally fit her due to her long but large body and short legs but I got a size Large based on other reviews and it literally fits her perfectly!! She normally doesnât tolerate jackets well but this was easy to get on (easy step-in design so you donât have to fight with your dog) and very secure. She had no issues going potty but it did take her a few minutes to get used to walking because of how puffy it is. Great find for the price! Definitely size up!

This is a great snowsuit. Ordered an XL for a Springer Spaniel and fits perfectly. Seems to be well made. Itâs a step in type coat with the underneath providing coverage for neck and under front chest area, leaving open area at underneath stomach/back area. The upper area covers from tail to mid neck with a zipper closure along the back from tail to neck. Neck has drawstrings so can tighten up a bit to prevent snow going in. Leg coverage is about half way down leg with a loose elastic fit. We also put boots on (which you can also get on Amazon) so fully protected from those cold snow days. Jacket feels like a puffer/down type jacket and is fully lined with a soft fleece like lining. Very happy with purchase.

Ordered this in a L first, but needed to return for an XL as it was too tight neck to tail and restricted movement.A little roomie in the chest for our slim pup, but XL definitely fit more comfortably.Overall I find measurements are a bit odd, but I understand itâs hard to make it fit many different dog breeds.Seems to be good quality for cost; nice and cozy for the cold Canadian winters! Very warm and nice jacket! Not complicated to put on dog. The dog stays dry and warm on long walks during the winter. I love the color! I bought XX-Large size for my border collie, but he is little bit bigger than average collie, and it fits good. Put 4 starts because zipper is getting open when the dog actively playing.

My 8 lb dog fits medium well. He is nicely covered and the higher neck is really nice. The legs are a little long for him at the back, But otherwise he is very warm and cozy. Best fit and I have tried a lot of suits.

We bought this for our 85lbs doberman in a size 3Xl. Despite it fitting perfectly and the jacket is relatively warmer than other puffers sold on Amazon, the zipper doesnât stay put. On walks, the zipper slides down constantly. The built on harness is also much too weak to attach our leash to, with one pull we had it fly off the jacket. Itâs easy to put on though thanks to the clip. Once we put it on our dogâs front legs, we clip it and then tuck in his backlegs. Overall not bad for the price.
