7 years and still going strong
This was my first ever heating pad for abdominal pain and back pain, Iâm prompted to write this review because I recently purchased a new heating pad from a different brand because I wanted an upgrade and it was so awful that I had to come leave a review 7 years later for my OG heating pad that Iâm currently still using!!!This heating pad is an absolute work horse and has really stood the test of time because Iâve not treated it gently. Itâs very no frills but will do its job. The blue other cover is washable but not the nicest. It was three settings, and heats up very quickly. The high temperature actually gets hot and to a high temp. It doesnât not have an auto timer. All in all itâs a good size, very flexible and a work horse, I think Iâll even try to look for a replacement with this same brand:company and hopefully get the same results!

Great portable heating pad
Purchased this in 2014 and keep it in a drawer for the few times I need it. It works great, heats up fast and stays warm. Good value and product.

A simple, effective heating pad. No auto shut off feature.
My husband has been having some serious back pain lately and those microwave bean bags help but they cool off too quickly. I saw this inexpensive heating pad and ordered it for him to use as well as for myself. The pad is not huge, it’s standard size. It’s a very thin and simple heating pad. It has three heat levels and an on/off button. It does NOT shut off automatically which I personally like but I think, for my husband, an auto shut off one may be better. He falls asleep in his chair with the pad on his back and it would be good if it shut off after 30 minutes. For me and my neck and back pain, I hate when the heating pad suddenly goes cold and shuts off. I want to control how long I have the pad on.This one doesn’t get scorching hot so chances are that it won’t burn anyone if it is left on for a long time. I would not use it with kids without monitoring the heat and being sure it shut off after a while but, for adults, it’s warm and comforting and stays that way for as long as you want.I haven’t had the pad long enough to say whether it will hold up for a long time but it works as it should for us. My husband has used it a number of times and I have used it three or four times. I prefer my heating pads to be really hot which this one isn’t but it is comforting and does relieve some of my pain. My husband likes the pad’s temperature and doesn’t want it any hotter. Again, personal preference. It’s a good, simple heating pad for a variety of uses. I saw in the reviews that people use it for pets, plants, and even food prep! Versatile! We just use it to help soothe aches and pains and we’re happy with it. I removed a star because I personally would prefer the high setting to be hotter and because it doesn’t have an auto shut off feature. Although I don’t want one, I think it would be good to have for my husband and anyone who may fall asleep with the pad on them.

Heating pad
Like this heating pad. Like that it does not turn off automatically…just what I wanted.

Nice and basic
Simple basic design. Nothing fancy, not very big, Like that it doesn’t have an automatic timed shut off like so many of them do today. It doesn’t mention it anywhere, but I measured it at about 40 watts power draw. It can get pretty warm when confined and you have to be careful using these.Although it is not recommended for such, I have one on the low setting controlled by an external thermostat in a pet carrier, covered with a heavy folded towel. Sits in an unheated barn and my “barn cat” has somewhere to warm up when it gets cold. I have it set to come on at about 45 degrees air temeprature. I’ve taken some temperature readings and get about 85 degrees on the surface of the towel. I’m sure that could get hotter under other conditions and higher ambient temperatures. The cat seems to like it when it’s cold. Keep in mind, I’m not recommending this use as it wasn’t designed for such and with any unattended heating device there is always some potential for a fire. If you want to use one for a purpose other than what it was designed for, be aware that appropriate precautions should be taken.I have another that is quite nice for warming up cold feet just laid out on the carpet next to a chair. If I’ve been out in the cold for awhile and get pretty cold, sitting in the chair with my feet on it for about 15-20 minutes will warm me up quite nicely. It is smallish and very basic, but the price is right. I have an older version of this that I’ve had for many years and it still work fine. If you want something fancier, there’s all kinds of options out there but for the price this is very usable.

Soft. Can get very hot. Cover is washable. Helps pain. Average size. Iâve had this since 2018 and itâs just now going out.

Gets warm enough but pad crinkles up
I purchased and returned a few heating pads because they just didnât get warm enough. I was happy with this one because it actually does get nicely warm. BUT the down side is that it gets all crinkled up with use. I have to flatten it out each time after using it

Can’t run on Indian voltage. The sight should either specify or should not promote such products.
