This is a well made pet carrier.
This is a phenomenal product. Sadly, our pet was just a little too large to keep it. It is very sturdy & well made. Make sure you know your animals height, length, & under estimate the actual weight it can handle comfortably.

Fits small frenchies
For strict airlines this bag is really large, but whatâs good about it is itâs flexible. It fit my Frenchie and was able to flatten out under the seat of the aircraft. Great bag

Unfortunately it wouldnât âcollapseâ enough to fit under Allegiant Airlines seat. 9â

First of all, this product is excellent and very sturdy indeed. We have the original large sturdi bag for about 7 years and travel a LOT. Delta has been giving us trouble lately saying it is slightly too large (their max dimensions are 18x11x11). The dimensions of our bag are 18x12x12 so I ordered the new 2.0 version which lists the size as 18x 11.5 x11.5. the bag that I just received is the exact same size as our old bag 18x12x12. So unfortunately this will have to be returned. I’m looking at the sturdi bag website and they list the same size as the Amazon site so I’m just confused on how to obtain the new slightly smaller version or if it even exists? I’m attempting to Attach a photo showing the product dimensions in the packaging I received (18x12x12 & it also says “the new sturdibag pro 2.0”) But this Amazon site is glitching and not letting me add a photo right now.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BAG
I just flew to Florida to pickup my show puppy who’s 17 lbs. – I had an old bag that broke and was told by several people to look at the sturdibags. First – they are expensive, BUT buy once, Cry once. These bags the large is what I purchased because I was told that airlines wont give me as much grief. Southwest didn’t really just looked at it and saw that the puppy could stand and move… But the large will hold a medium size or small puppy. The shoulder strap is very thick and comfortable. Was not digging into my shoulder at all with my puppy in it. It fit under the seat no scrunching or breaking of the rods. I do wish i could’ve gotten a different color but really doesn’t matter when you’re flying. My puppy was comfortable, He slept in it (the mattress pad it comes with is VERY plush). I like that it locks on the zippers, and that it has vents all around it. I had his head poking out for most of the flight and he was comfortable and would curl up and sleep. I am very pleased with this. If you’re looking for a in cabin bag that will last, that will be comfortable, and feel comfortable carrying it – THIS is it! – I suggest this highly.

beautiful bag but cannot justfify the price point
I got this lavender bag size L, it fits for my 11.2lb ragdoll just about right, not really enought to fit both pets. Our brown tabby cat weights ~14lb, see the pic so you can use them as a size reference.Con:My main complaint for this bag is the fabric being too thin(see 2nd photo), light can penetrates through even with all the windows put down, and zipped, unsure if the darker color bags have the same problem, the cat can see every shadow of movement, which could be terrifying for cats during travel, thus you might need to wrap a blanket outside during trip so the cat can feel hidden and secure, which totally defects the purpose of the bag design.2nd complaint : The zipper lock metal piece seems flimsy, it does make some noise during movement, might be another turn down if your cat is sound-sensitive. Also note that the size L is slightly over the limit for most flight requirement, you might get away with it if they don’t check, but there’s the risk, however the size medium would be too short for any cat weight over 7lb, so i might only ideal for local car trip, however my cat seems to prefer the snuggier/smaller backpack after our vet trip with sturdi.Verdict:Overall, the design of the bag is smart and elegant,i got it mostly for the looks and i might keep it for car trips if it’s priced more reasonably ~$60 , but even after black friday sale, i still cannot justify the price point being $90 for a carrier which still requires modification/comproises let alone being $119 on most days

Weak Zippers
The design of this bag is amazing, love all the windows, skylights, perfect for air travel but the zipper is weak. My Cavalier puppy busted the front zipper, no problem. And the customer service for this product is terrible. They will repair and replace nothing. So Iâm am stuck with a nearly new $125 carrier I canât use. Iâm looking for a way to replace the zipper with a stronger one as my budget cannot sustain such a loss. As they donât stand by their product it is not good value for the money. That goes for the pop up car kennel as well that I intended to use in hotel rooms. The screening was tough enough for her but the zipper teeth separated. So need a better zipper for that too.
