Stone Grip non-slip tile treatment works on most natural stone floors and stairs, including porcelain and ceramic tiles, terrazzo, quarry, slate, brick, travertine, unsealed concrete, honed marble and granite, unsealed concrete and many other stone or mineral surfaces
Stone Grip is the ideal non-slip solution for indoor and outdoor tile, unsealed concrete and natural stone areas including bathroom floors, patios, balconies, kitchens, around swimming pools, staircases, and many other areas where there could potentially be a slip-and-fall accident
Stone Grip creates slip-resistant tile and natural stone floors in just minutes with no change of appearance. The treatment time of a Stone Grip application averages around 5 to 15 minutes and the surface will be 100% ready to use once the solution has been neutralized and washed away
Stone Grip anti-slip is long-lasting and if treated correctly will ensure your flooring, ceramic or porcelain tiles, concrete or natural stone remains non-slippery for excess of 2 years. Cleaning the floor after application is easy. Use any standard household cleaner and a mop or brush to keep the surface clean and slip-resistant
Coverage: Up to 75 sq. ft. per quart or up to 400 sq. ft. per gallon. Important: Some sealers, polishes and wax must be removed prior to application. Not for use on highly polished tiles or on wood, glass, metal, painted surfaces, or synthetic flooring such as vinyl, VCT or laminate.

Surprisingly effective
I got these big beautiful porcelain tiles for our new guest bath but didnt know how lethal they could be when wet. I didnt want to hide the tiles under a bath mat so I thought I would try this out. I put maybe 5 coats on. It has worked like a charm. Its been a few months since application and still as grippy as ever. When the tile is dry it has a very low tack and you hardly notice it.

Absolutely Works
Money well spent! I never have left a review for a product before, but felt I needed to this time. Moved in to a home with a slippery shower floor. I was so worried about my mom falling in the shower. I added grab bars, thinking that was the solution, but it still wasnât enough. Add soap and shampoo to the mix, and it was just plain dangerous. Read all the reviews, and decided to give it a try. It was more than I wanted to spend, but absolutely worth it. I found the directions on the bottle a little confusing, so I went on YouTube, and watched their video, which totally simplified the application process. It was really very easy to prep and apply. Everyone remarked after their showers today, that it felt so much better, safer, and not at all worried about slipping. This is amazing stuff, and I would recommend it to anyone that has those slippery porcelain tiles in their shower!

Slip Doctor Worksâ¼ï¸
We have just completed a new shower. We didnât even consider that the floor inside the shower would be super slick until it was too late. We searched on Amazon for something for slippery floors. Slip Doctor Stone Grip is what came up. We read everything about it. We have treated our shower floor and it is absolutely amazing. I donât have to hang onto the grab bar now to keep from falling down, I could enjoy my shower like before. I highly recommend this product! The best thing about it is, IT WORKS. My husband treated the shower floor. It didnât take him any time to do it when he was finished he let me know. The shower is ready anytime. What a difference itâs made and when youâre over 50, you donât want to have to worry about falling in the shower. I highly recommend this product. I will use it again if I have a slick floor.

It Works, and So Will You
As everyone says, “It works!” But it was a lot of work for me. My kitchen floor has large tiles that are shiny and I nearly broke my hip slipping on even a small drop of water. This product got great reviews so I thought I’d try it and share what I learned. It is expensive–know that one quart bottle covers only 50-75 square feet–barely enough to cover my kitchen. You will need a mop and bucket to wash your floor, two 1 gallon sprayers (one to apply the product and another to apply the neutralizer–water and baking soda), and a wet vac. It helps to have rubber boots, safety goggles, and hand gloves. I was very nervous about ruining my kitchen floor but it came out looking OK–the surface is no longer shiny–it is dull, which is why it has such a great grip. I tested a small area and got nervous when it still seemed slick at 14 1/2 minutes (they said it would take 5-15 minutes). I went with that length of time and it did the trick. You have to spray as evenly as possible quickly, and I can see some areas are duller than others from a bit of unevenness, but I saw no way to spread it out because a mop would have absorbed the product. I sprayed the neutralizer and then wet vacuumed it up, then sprayed another layer of neutralizer and vacuumed again, then I wet mopped with just water. Between the shopping for products and getting everything set up (I masked my stainless appliances at their base near the floor but probably didn’t need to), I spent the entire afternoon on it. I probably sweated the details more than needed, but this is a very visible floor! I called Slip Doctor with some questions and they were very responsive, 888-436-5404. I would recommend this product but hope I never have to do this again.

Great for slippery showers
This product was perfect to create a non-slip surface on glazed porcelain tile in my shower. Ensure you follow instructions precisely.

Worked eventually
I purchased this product to treat an extremely slippery (dangerously so) travertine shower in a condo I recently purchased. Even though it was quite expensive, I was desperate to do something quickly to prevent injury while showering. I was literally scared to take a shower for fear of falling. I diligently followed directions and completed the application as described. After the first go, there was no significant change. So I did the whole process again. After this time, there was some improvement, so I decided to give it a try the next time I showered. The following day in the shower, I could still feel enough slippage to make me uneasy. At this point, I just figured it was not going to work. However, I just had to do something or I would never feel safe to take a shower in my new place. Well, the next day, I completed the process for the THIRD time, and it finally worked, but by this time, I had used the entire bottle of Slip Doctor. My shower is just average size, 3×5, and I had hoped to used the product 3 times. Instead I had to use all of it to get a satisfactory result. Now I am only wondering just how long it will last.

It kinda works
I left it on way longer than specified and still wasn’t rough enough, but at least it didn’t discolor the tiles.

Great product!
Stone Grip works really well. We couldnât be happier. Our shower floor now has much more grip when wet. We followed the instructions we found online. We also tested Stone Grip on an extra tile we had in the attic. You cannot see a difference in the tile, but you can definitely feel a difference. Itâs like magic! Follow all instructions including having your neutralizer ready when the timer goes off. We actually did 2 applications because we found that the tile wasnât as grippy as we wanted after just one application of about 10 minutes. There was no problem applying it twice. We just let the tiles dry between applications. We left Stone Grip on for about 10-15 minutes both times and itâs perfect now.Testing on a sample tile first was crucial in helping figure out how much time to leave Stone Grip on. We felt much more comfortable putting it on the file floor after testing. Itâs easy and it works as advertised.

I was skeptical at first that this product was going to work out but I applied it to the tile floor in a shower and it ABSOLUTELY worked. Follow the directions 100% as mis-using will turn out badly I’m sure, its pretty potent (pretty sure just muriatic acid). I tested it on a spare tile first. It didn’t feel much different but in the shower with some water and soap on the surface I could feel the added grip underfoot. It will change the appearance slightly, making the tile less shiny but that’s it working I guess. The test tile I let the product sit for 5 mins, the shower floor I did for 10 so the whole process took well under an hour. Would recommend highly and will use the rest on my front porch as I have very slick concrete.

Worked perfectly the whole operation took 30 minutes from start to finish. Tiles now okay to walk on when wet. Clean, apply for result, neutralise and wash off & dry tiles. Ready to be walked on

Had used the product on my washroom and the result is excellent. It is not slippery anymore and also the result is fast.As the color of the solution is light yellow in colour , so it will be advisable to try out on non prominent area first to see if it does create any stain , especially if the tiles or flooring is white in colour.

Easy to use. As per instructions, I pre-tested on an extra tile to determine the optimum time to leave the product in contact with the shower floor. This is highly recommended in order to balance the amount of colour fading vs. increase in friction. I wound up settling on 3:40 and have an extremely slip resistant floor with slight lightening of the tile. Colour difference is not overly noticeable after treatment. Shower floor was deadly slippery before using, now I can soap my feet and dance on the wet floor without worrying about slipping.
