Stella & Chewy’s Raw Coated Premium Kibble Cat Food: Smitty Approved!
Stella & Chewy’s Raw Coated Premium Kibble Cat Food has won over the heart (and stomach) of my feline friend, Smitty, so much so that he’s become a feline foodie influencer, recommending it to his cousins! What sets this cat food apart is its grain-free, protein-rich formula. With real meat as the first ingredient and a raw coating for added flavor and nutrition, it’s like offering a gourmet meal to your furry friend every day.Smitty’s enthusiasm for this food speaks volumes. From the moment I introduced it to his bowl, he couldn’t get enough. The kibble’s texture is just rightânot too crunchy, not too softâand he gobbles it up eagerly at every mealtime. As a pet parent, it’s reassuring to know that I’m feeding Smitty something that’s not only delicious but also packed with essential nutrients to keep him healthy and happy. Plus, the grain-free formula means it’s suitable for cats with sensitive stomachs or food allergies. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a premium cat food that will have your feline friend purring with delight, look no further than Stella & Chewy’s Raw Coated Premium Kibble Cat Food. Smitty gives it his highest recommendation, and his cousins can’t get enough of it either!

Great kibble
Honestly I wasn’t sure what to buy my cats but this brand seemed to stick out with the simple ingredients, cats seem to love the taste, it’s a bit pricy so I try to get decent deals on it when amazing offers it.One thing I notice is it didn’t give my cats an upset stomach and they never had the runs after changing them over. Which is a huge win. Normally you need to mix little by little with prior food to get them used to the new food. I will keep ordering this brand till it becomes too expensive or they start eating a lot more. Unfortunately they don’t offer a very large bag and I have 2 cats. I will have to find a similar good brand when my babies reach adulthood.

This is good food, and my cats like it
I have raised my last four cats into their mid-to-late 20s, one nearly reaching 29 years of age, and I attribute my food choices to their longevity. Currently, I have two cats, Ella (11) and Bubba (2).I free-feed Blue Buffalo kibble as a primary component of their diet and offer them wet food each morning and evening. Water is essential to their health, and cats prefer getting their fluid requirements through their food.Whether in wet or dry food, I look for meat, fowl, or fish as the number one ingredient and for the absence of corn, soy, wheat, gluten, or unnamed byproducts in the ingredient list.Although my cats are okay with a rotation of various Blue Buffalo kibble products, I like to give them some variety from time to time, so I bought a bag of Stella & Chewy’s Freeze-Dried Raw Coated Kibble.Stella & Chewy’s ingredient list meets my requirements. Considering that approximately 80% of cat food’s ingredients are found in the first four ingredients, let’s look at the first eight: chicken, chicken meal, lentils, peas, chicken fat, chicken liver, natural chicken flavor, and chicken gizzard. There is nothing scary in the rest of the list. I’m not sure what “natural chicken flavor” means in an ingredient list because I would assume that if you put enough chicken in it, it will have the natural flavor of chicken and wouldn’t have to be added as an extra ingredient. But I am not overly concerned about that.Besides the above, Stella & Chewy’s recipe is grain-free, and while I am no expert, I can accept that freeze-dried raw ingredients have an advantage over cooked ingredients. However, the label says it is “coated with RAW,” so I can’t say I know what that means either. It doesn’t worry me, though.Since there is little point in buying excellent cat food if your cats refuse to eat it, I was happy to find that this was not the case. Since I free-feed kibble, my cats don’t generally get excited by kibble, but both of them took the time to sample the Stella & Chewy’s stuff, and, if my understanding of feline body language is accurate, they like it.In my opinion, this is good food. If you chose to feed this as your cat’s primary kibble, I can’t see this as a bad choice. I will stick with Blue Buffalo because I’ve had good results with it, but I will buy this occasionally. However, I don’t suggest kibble as the sole choice for any cat. Particularly when they get older, cats don’t tend to drink enough water to meet the needs of their kidneys, so they need wet food.

My cats immediately loved this
I just bought a bag of this and when I gave a few pieces to my cats they were ecstatic about it! I am switching them to this from friskies and so I am definitely doing a mix of each food for a bit. It’s a bit pricey but I recently read the ingredients on the bag of friskies and it’s basically all corn. I felt so bad. These kibble pieces are so much more smaller than other cat foods! It is very cute and I sure the fur babies will appreciate that. Will update this review in a month or two because I have a cat with skin issues and am hoping that eating a food with no corn, grain or potatoes will help clear it up and keep it clear.

Making my kitties sick
The last two bags I’ve ordered have caused my cats to become ill. I thought maybe it was just a fluke the first time, but after tossing the last third of the last bag and starting the new bag, it kept happening. Once I switched to a different brand, no more stomach/vomiting issues. I’m bummed because this was a favorite for a long time for my felines.

both cats go feral for this food
I genuinely cannot keep my second cat out of the room because he makes it his mission to steal all of his sister’s food before she gets to it. he rejects his normal food. sometimes it results in a stare-off between the cats because both really, REALLY want this stuff. I also have the pickiest cats known to man, if that helps, and both reject practically everything else we give them. worth the purchase, very good quality food, but be ready for the chaos level in your home to increase around 200% if you have more than one cat.

She dove right into it from the first meal. It’s easy to mix and measure, so there’s little wastage. Most importantly, Kitty loves it, and the raw diet seems to be agreeing with her.

I looked at the reviews and the ingredient list and thought this would be a great food to try on my cats. I mixed it with two other kinds – to get them used to the new food – and they both meticulously picked out the new food in favour of the old. My dog, however, loves it (he sneaks into the cat bowls on occasion) so I know there is nothing inherently wrong with the food. I’m glad I didn’t buy a large bag!

Neither cats will eat any more after their first taste. Sons cat wont touch it either. Too bad because this cat food is not cheap. Would be nice if you could buy small tester bags.
