My big boy loves this scratching pad!
We got the orange cat scratching pad, which looks like my cat! I placed this next to my kitchenâs sliding glass door because he scratches the door frame. He has stopped scratching the door frame and is now using the pad! I worried about the Velcro but itâs holding up great! We have had it up for over a week and there is no sign of it coming down. For my own sense of security, I do run my hand around the edges every once in a while. The colors match my kitchen and itâs a cute picture. So itâs not an eye sore like my poor door frame! Happy cat mom and happy cat! WIN WIN!

Bought this because one of my cats started scratching my sons brand new gaming chair .After I stuck this on the side of the desk ,the cat who was scratching the chair came over and scratched this vertical sisal scratcher instead perfect !putting the âyesâ object right near the â noâ object really does work 🙂

Well made, but my indoor/outdoor cats ignore
I ordered this mat knowing my cat may not use it because she has never scratched the sisal leg of her cat tree, but I loved the look & sentiment & had hoped our visitor cats might take a liking to it…No such luck.After airing it out, I laid it underneath the kitty cave next to the cat tree to flatten out for a week or so & both cats completely ignored it (no curious sniffing, they just walked/jumped around it).Then, after hanging it, I scratched it in front of my cat, rubbed her & then rubbed the mat in hopes of transferring her scent.I’ve done this several times & she hasn’t so much as sniffed it. :(I am unable to use catnip in the house due to my mom’s chemical sensitivities, so I don’t know if that would have any impact on their interest, or not.Practically speaking, it was really easy to hang because the adhesive Velcro strips touch each other making a rectangular shape that it fits on, so you don’t have to measure it out; you just put them on the wall in the same pattern they appear on the back of the mat.I was concerned about the adhesive strips damaging the wall, however, they seem to pull off of interior semi-gloss wall paint without damaging it (see photo).I was then oppositely concerned that the adhesive wouldn’t be strong enough to hold it up, but that hasn’t proven to been the case under its own weight.Cats *might* be able to pull it down, but I applied quite a bit of force to do so (see photo), and it went back up securely and hasn’t sagged or fallen.Overall, it’s sturdy & well made. As a black cat lover, I love the design but would recommend with caution from a practical standpoint because not all cats are going to like it.

Almost too nice looking to use for a scratcher
I love the design. So much nicer to look at than the plain, boring ones. I ordered the black cat as we have a couple of them. And they really do rule the house.It is almost a shame to let them destroy such a cute design, but better this scratching pad than the couch.It didn’t take long for the cats to figure this scratcher out. A few squirts of catnip spray and they were all interested immediately.The velcro seems to adhere well so far, but it hasn’t been up for very long yet. I will come to edit my review if I encounter problems in the future. But so far, 5 paws up for this scratching pad.

Iâve spent countless afternoons perfecting the art of shredding the couch (to my house staff’s despair), but ever since they introduced this scratch pad, my claw-happy tendencies have found a new, glorious battleground. The rough, fibrous texture of the mat is pure heaven under my pawsâno more fighting the smoothness of that pesky upholstery, or risking the staff going for the dreaded spray bottle. My staff think this mat is a âwin-winâ because it saves the sofa; but I love it as it keeps these death bringers sharp af. Five claws up!

Der Artikel kam zügig und sicher verpackt bei mir an.Die Matte ist aufgerollt und sollte vorher ein bisschen Zeit haben in Form zu kommen, bevor man sie irgendwo anbringt (sonst hält sie leider nicht so gut und rollt wieder zusammen).Die Verarbeitung ist super und ich habe keine Mängel feststellen können.Die GröÃe von 56×33 cm ist ideal â groà genug, damit meine Katze sich austoben kann, aber dennoch kompakt genug, um überall Platz zu finden.Besonders praktisch finde ich die Vielseitigkeit: Die Matte kann sowohl auf dem Boden, an der Wand, als auch auf Teppichen oder Möbeln angebracht werden. Der Klettverschluss macht es möglich.Ein kleines Highlight ist für mich das kreative Design â die Star Wars Katze ist einfach super und sieht meinem Kater fast ein wenig ähnlich aus!Insgesamt ein durchdachtes Produkt, das sowohl Katzen als auch ihren Besitzern Freude bereitet.Ich gebe gerne 5 Sternchen – Preis/Leistung ist total in Ordnung!

Wir haben für unsere Katzen an mehreren Stellen Kratzmatten, an Türen, Schränken und an der Couch. Das ist aber die schickste mit Laser-Katze drauf. Interessiert die Tiere natürlich nicht, aber sie nutzen diese Kratzmatten sehr gern und die Matten halten auch sehr gut, einfach die Klebestreifen auf der Rückseite nutzen und an die gewünschte Stelle bringen. Top.
