Great for sensory play and strength building
Bought this for my dad who is 97 and in a nursing home. He has Alzhymers and gets upset and scared when they have to move him. He had no hand strength to hold onto the side rail and assist them. He would frantically reach out to grab one of the CNAs arms or hair. Now, they hand him this little.dog to squeeze and it comforts him. He can squeeze it as hard as he wants. It is light weight and it makes him laugh. He absolutely love it and plays with it even when they aren’t moving him. It can go with him into the shower. It can be disinfected. It is durable. And it has improved his hand strength!

Dogs won’t play with it
Usually my dogs love things like this but they just won’t play with it. I think that the toy is adorable, but for a dog toy it needs some sort of squeaker to attract their attention. It also has an oily feeling after handling it so I’m guessing that it has an order that they don’t like. Today I’m going to wash it in some dish soap in hopes of degreasing it in hopes they change their minds.

I found this item for less than half of what I paid. Itâs cute and fun but the price was a little high so when I tried to return it they wanted to charge me $5.95 for return shipping so I lost out either way. Search for cheaper. If youâre in California, Charlie Browns market has tons of them for $6.

Once Adorable, It Completely Deflated to Flat!
We loved the shaggy pink puffer dog for its vibrant color and cheery flickering light inside the body. It was fun to gently squeeze and stood near a bed as a cute gummy sentinel.Yesterday was heartbreaking. We found the dog completely flattened out and deflated for no reason. It hadn’t even been played with (gently always!) for a while. It was just standing there.Nothing we can do will make it fill out and stand up full and round again. It is so upsetting.And, $13 is way too much to spend for a replacement that may do the same thing again. Very very disappointed. I’d give it one star, but the puffer dog was delightful and worth five stars before this happened.
