Definitely works! But will get gross with slobber
My dog loves this! He has so much fun and it takes him a little while to get all the food out. The only issue is that it gets gross quickly with his slobber so I need to wash it. Not an issue with the product I knew it was fabric when I bought it just something to keep in mind! Good quality though and I like that it has a grippy bottom so it wonât slip.

My doggies loved this snuffle mat! I knew my little Lab puppy would, but didnât think my mixed breed rescue would, but she got right in there and had a ball! This is made so well, with tons of spots to hide goodies. The first time I didnât put enough treats and they found them all fast. The next time I hid lots and they had fun for a long time. This is such a great idea to keep doggies entertained and this mat is fantastic! Highly recommend! I had as much fun watching them as they did snuffling! 🙂

So much fun
This is the second ‘sniffy’ mat that I’ve purchased for my two ” super sniffers”. The first one (not this company) got pilly and started to shred after a few months, so it was time for something new. I was highly impressed with the substantially sturdy box that had been wrapped in plastic. The mat was thoughtfully wrapped in tissue paper with a note from the seller. What makes this mat even more interesting is the different textures used, the bright and fun patterns and colors of objects with great nooks and crannies to hide the treats. It has two long straps for attachment if you need to keep it from sliding, but I didn’t have that issue since the backing appears adequate. Large enough for two smaller size dogs. DaVinci and JoeyMo rate it highly.

Great enrichment for large breeds
I have a 3 year old rescue Newfoundland who LOVES this mat. Keeps her busy for about 15 minutes. She is a very strong girl and it has held up decently well over the past few months, but she has torn/chewed some of the felt pieces off. Regardless, still good quality and she certainly loves it!

I had held off on buying a snuffle mat because they tend to be sort of expensive, but recently decided I needed something to entertain our 2-year-old pitbull when itâs too cold outside to play. She absolutely loves this mat! Itâs soft and it crinkles, and itâs a great size for the price. My only complaint is that even though it does have rubber backing to keep it from slipping, itâs really easy for her to just crumble it up and knock the treats off. (I wish it had something like suction cups.) I havenât washed it yet but I expect it will be fine on the gentle cycle. Iâm very happy with it and so is Aayla.

Worked for my dog
I wasnât sure if my Aussie would be interested or challenged by this, but he took right to it. I just tried it with his food and he took his time meandering around it to find all the pieces. I would recommend supervising since he did keep pawing and biting at it. I donât think it will fall apart with normal use but it would be easy to chew up. The big leaf gave him the most trouble to where he kept flipping the mat over to make the pieces fall out. I donât think it would keep him busy long with a better reward like treats hidden in it but for enriching his meal time it lasted him over 5 minutes for food that would have been scarfed down in seconds in his bowl.

Great for dogs who have practiced snuffling for food. Could be challenging for a dog new to this form of enrichment. Wouldn’t reccomend for puppies or for dogs who get frustrated easily. Supervision is needed as a dog may rip the fabric to get some food if they get frustrated.

What a great way to occupy an inquisitive mind! My puppy and Bengal cat were both forging together. Well worth the money spent
