Excellent product
I like everything about and the cat loves everything about it. Set and forget. Don’t have to worry about it staying on continuously, with there being a weight sensor.

Nice heater for the cats.
Works as stated.

I use it for my cold feet!
So, I should admit that I did not get this for my dog. I got it for myself. My feet turn to ice while I sit in my home office. I currently have this on my foot stool and turn it on for 8-hours while Iâm working. When I put my feet on it, it warms them up, when I take my feet off, it goes into standby. After an 8 hour shift, it will turn itself off. I love it and it works! It stays put nicely on my footstool, doesnât shift around, and I am happy I can take off the cover to wash it since I do put my shoes on it when it is not on. It is soft and Iâm glad the cover isnât white, which would get dirty and stained easily. I have purchased several other things that I had hoped would help keep my feet warm (including an actual two foot slipper that heats up) and this pad has worked the best so far.

The manual is basically useless. Cannot get it to work.
I wanted to like this so bad. Barn cats need a warming device with the cold temps coming. I ordered this way ahead of time to be ready but I cannot figure out how to work it. It says induction mode for pets weighing 10 lbs….mine is 6 pounds but doesn’t tell you how to turn either mode on. It says in directions that the “/” symbol will be displayed and that is never displayed.

Cat loves it!
Our cat loves this heating pad. The timer and temperature levels are a nice feature as well.

Too Small for Medium Cats; Cannot Sense Small Cats
This little heating pad is a bit of a paradox. Thatâs a ten-pound (4.5Kg) cat in the photo. According to the manual and listing page, heâs at the bottom limit of what the weight sensor can detect to turn on. Heâs also a bit big; if he curls up on it heâll still hang off the edges. It did turn on when he stood on it. His little sister is only nine pounds (4Kg) and it detected her too while standing. The weight sensing seems to be only the center one-third of the pad. Itâs on only one side, so that side must be on top of the weight required goes up substantially. The pad came with a sticker: âUp Sideâ on the outer cover. I immediately transferred it to the plastic inner pad before it could get lost or the cover put on the other way.The manual is barely understandable and youâll do better just experimenting to find the desired settings. It says the system remembers the last setting but thatâs only true if it stays plugged in and powered. If unplugged âor switched off by a smart plug or other switchâ itâll forget and be back at defaults when powered on again. And thatâs not an âonâ state so forget about putting it on a timer or any other low-tech method of helping it be âsmartâ.To add to my disappointment, itâs only 20 watts not 30W as claimed. (I measured it.) Itâs also only 12.5âx16â inches not 13âx17â.With so many discrepancies I just canât recommend this heating pad.

Instructions are sooo confusing!
When I first got this heating pad I thought it wasn’t working correctly. The instructions are not well written and I just couldn’t figure how if I had accidently done something wrong or if the pad just wasn’t heating up. I did get some more detailed info from the seller and that helped. My cat is small, only about 6 pounds, so I needed to turn off the gravity detection or induction mode which enables this heated pad to stay on for whatever time you set on the controller. Otherwise, she wasn’t heavy enough to activate it so it never heated up. I did get it to work!It turns out I got this just in time because it has been bitterly cold here and the old heating pad just didn’t get as warm as this one does. I used this inside a very large wooden cat condo on my covered porch. (Don’t come for me cat people…this kitty HATES the indoors, that’s why she has a private condo outside.) My cat immediately curled up on this pad and she has been content ever since. I leave it on 24/7 since the weather is cold, but will probably only use it at night once the weather starts warming up. Also, since I’m using this outdoors I did find that i needed to turn it all the way up to 5 on the heat setting. It does not get as hot as stated otherwise I think this would be too high. This does seem durable and I like that the cover comes off for easy cleaning and that the controller has bright numbers that are easy to read.

Gets hotter than needed, but works well
We run the air conditioning about 9 months out of the year and the other three are usually cooler, so our cat is always searching out a lap or something warm to lounge on. I had purchased another heating pad for her months ago and all the animals in the house seemed to find it at one point or another, so I picked this one up to help distribute the load. The outside of the mat is made of a removeable, washable cover which tends to be important after its been used a while. The controls are easy enough to figure out, except for the disabling of the pressure sensitive feature. I liked the idea of it only working when the cat was on it, but it works for 10 lbs and above, so our 7-8lb cat wasn’t keeping it on. The old pad generally felt warm to the touch on high, but this one gets absolutely hot – to the point the cat didn’t even want to lay on it. I found that temperature setting 3 (out of 5) was perfect for the cat and she apparently thought so as well. The instructions say it reaches about 140 F on setting 5, which is way too hot for indoor use, but if you were using it in an outdoor cat house in the winter, it probably would be good. The cat seems to enjoy it and our dogs hop on it when the cat is off doing whatever cats do when they aren’t sleeping. The cable is armored coming out of it so no one chews it off and it is user friendly, what else can you ask for.

This has been a great treat for our cat. It can run continuously or with a timer. But the heating setting can also be set so that it only turns on when the cat is on the mat. The cat has learned this quickly and cozies up to this nicely. Soft touch feel which is nice as well.

Its winter and cats/dogs love some warmth. The functionality of this device is great! Love the feature it is weight sensitive, so once dog or cat steps or sits on it it starts heating up. Definitely recommended.
