Cheap alternative to Carefresh
It’s squishy recycled paper that your creatures can live in comfortably. It tends to be smelly/squished down by the end of a week, but really you should be changing your pet’s cage at that mark/before that. I usually get it from a local petstore about $30 for a 184 Litter bag, but they’re inconsistent in stocking it.

The fresh bedding has a strangely sweet smell to it, but it’s odor control is limited. I do really wish the color was lighter as I can’t tell what needs to be spot cleaned and was doesn’t. The price is great and it’s really great for tunneling and holding it’s shape. It took my hamster a week to create a strong system of tunnels that hold despite shaving off the top layer of bedding.

Great product. Same quality bedding that’s cheaper than carefresh. The only thing is it’s not 50L packed bedding it is 50L of loose bedding so its about 16L packed bedding.

The best
I like this much better than Carefresh Natural and even prefer it to Carefresh Ultra. Carefresh Natural has a very strange odor once it’s been in the cage for a while. Ultra doesn’t have that problem, but it is more expensive than Boxo and not as fluffy. All in all, Boxo wins for value and performance.

After trying various Bedding (brands) I have gone back to BOXO every time! Great value for the price, too! No dust, VERY soft!
