This was one of the only stainless steel slow feeders I could find. I love the size, and it doesn’t give my pittie mix chin rash like plastic bowls. It also slows down his eating as well! I would buy again!

Slow eater dog bowl
Supposed to be stainless, but it’s very light. Dog pushes it around. Does not “stick” to floor. So I use a terry towel.However, it washes easily. It does slow the dog’s gobbling down so she doesn’t throw up.I had bought a 2½-3 cup one that held, maybe ¾-1 cup. This one said 5 or 8 cups, I think. It’s alot bigger than the smaller melamine one I had originally. I can put in at least 1½ cups, I don’t have to “heap” it so food doesn’t fall off moving from the counter to the floor.Dog (maybe) & I both like it.

Slow feeder dog bowl is ok
The bowl is nice in that it is not plastic, but it doesnât slow my 70 lb. dog down very much. The dividers on the orange plastic maze bowl are deeper and the kibble is hard to get to at certain parts of it. My niece borrowed it for her dog, which is around 50 lbs. and she said it slowed her down so maybe itâs a matter of the size of the dog mouth and tongue. Not sure.

These bowls are large, sturdy, non slip, easy clean, dishwasher safeâ¦..need I go on.I have 4 large breed dogs and had been struggling to find a quality bowl to feed raw diet that could be easily sanitized after every meal. Each dog has 2 bowls one for am and pm meals then in the evening I place them in the dishwasher and sanitize. Theyâve come out shiny and the non slip backing is still attached! No pitting of the metal either which happens with inferior metal that is continuously washed. They may seem expensive but I can guarantee they will last longer than the cheap ones you could find.
