Sticks well, works well
It fits well in our 6â metal dog bowl. Sizing definitely seems correct. It does its jobâmy dog definitely eats slower (much to her dismay). We mix dry kibble with canned pumpkin, and thereâs not been any staining issues, although we usually rinse the bowl at the end of the day. I like the cute dog bone designâthe bowl we have has bones on it, so it matches a little. The suction cups also work wellâshe hasnât been able to move or pull up the insert.I actually bought two different brands/designs, and this was the one I liked better. I returned the other one and am planning to buy a second one of these (so I can always have a spare when if one is in the dishwasher).

It fit in my dog’s bowl well. It’s designed well which slows down my dog’s eating so it functions as it should. The suction cups on the bottom are sturdy and keep it from coming out of the bowl. Some small kibble does get underneath it but overall, this was well worth it.

Good enough but difficult to wash
This was the only small size that fit in my puppyâs bowl so it was my only option. This has definitely slowed down eating but sometimes my puppy wonât finish small leftovers at the bottom because itâs too difficult to get to. Still, it does its job of slowing down. The only thing is the bottom side where the suction cups are have small/tight negative pockets that make it extremely difficult to thoroughly wash it. I wish the bottom side was flat with no openings (other than the suction cups which are needed). My biggest concern with this is that there may be soap residue stuck in those small pockets I couldnât wash off & I end up giving my puppy soap with his meal. That would be a nightmare. So I try to run water on all of the bottom side pockets extra long but this uses more water & it gets exhausting if you have to do this twice a day every day.

Our little dude would darn near choke at every meal trying to consume his food so quickly. This really slowed him down, but he makes weird noises getting to all the food, lol. The suction cups work well to hold it in place.

Pros:- Slows my dogâs eating down- Easily removable- Easily cleanableCons:- Food gets trapped underneath- I ordered a large, but it doesnât fit the entire bottom of the bowl- Slides around if you use wet foodUPDATE 9/17: my dog was able to get this unstuck since it slides around and she was looking for food that ended up underneath it. She took it out and chewed up the slow feeder (she did not ingest it but chewed it up).

Great insert for dog bowl
Our Bulldog canât help herself and eats way too fast and then we found this! Incredibly durable, fits perfect into smaller doors bowls (be sure to check the sizing on this product and the size of your bowl first!). Rather inexpensive which is nice and light weight!

Great slow feeder!!
Two of my dogs devour their food in what seems like seconds. I didn’t want to replace their bowls because I have their bowls on stands. These fit perfectly in the 4″ bowl and in the 4-1/2″ bowl (bottom measurement of the bowls). The suction cups do stay in place in the steel bowls and when removing them are not a challenge. The food does not get caught underneath nor in the suctions while they are eating. Very easy to wash. This has definitely slowed down the speed of downing their food. Great product!!!
