Game changer
I rescued my kitty about 5 yrs ago. He has a very sensitive tummy. If he eats moist cat food, he pukes. If he eats dry cat food to fast, he pukes. Iâve probably cleaned up puke almost every day for the last 5 yrs. Iâve tried everything from feeding him in small amounts and spacing his meals to buying one of those tilting cat dishes that help them swallow it better. Nothing helped, heâd puke. I seen this dish and thought Iâd give it a try. Itâs been over 2 weeks and no puking, not one time!!

Perfect for my small senior dog
My senior dog is missing most of her teeth, so her tongue hangs out of her mouth and is very dry and swollen. She eats her wet food too fast in a regular bowl and vomits, so I started buying my slow feeders for her. The problem is most dog slow feeders are too intricate for her tongue due to her mouth issues. This one is perfect for her. It slows her down as not to throw up her food but the design isnât so crowded that she canât get her tongue in between the raised parts.

Our kitty downs her food so quickly that she ends up throwing up on sometimes. Vet confirmed that it wasnât serious, but recommended a slow feeder bowl.We got this one and itâs made zero difference â she still inhales her food and makes herself sick. Would recommend one with deeper and more narrow grooves instead.

Doesn’t slow my cat down. At. All.
This is actually a nice bowl, with a good weight to it and feet that grip the counter well. If you are looking for a decorative bowl, you will probably like it. We’re keeping it for that reason.We have one cat that eats so fast that she throws up often. She has an over eating problem, so we have her on an auto feeder with specific portions at specific times. She finishes a meal in less than 60 seconds and this bowl does nothing to slow her down. There is just too much space between the raised parts.We are continuing to look for something that actually works, but this isn’t it.
