My favorite slip leash!
This is my absolute favorite slip lead. I prefer thinner slips because they give me finer control over my dog, but I donât like holding the super thin part in my hand. This leash is the best of both worlds and I get the thin slip attached to my dog with a regular leash handle which is easier to hold. The traffic handle is a great addition and I use it frequently when I need to walk my dog on a shorter lead. The length of the slip itself is the perfect length for me to figure 8 around his nose which is typically how I use it. Keep in mind if you have a very large dog the length of the slip would be too short to figure 8 around the nose. I love the plastic keepers as those little leather keepers are the bane of my existence since they constantly slide around and donât hold the slip where it needs to be. I love the length of these leashes, I clip them onto a belt while we walk, and they do not drag on the ground while my dogs walk next to me like longer leashes tend to do. If youâre looking for a practical every day slip leash that wonât slide around, this is the one for you. I do wish this product was slightly cheaper, closer to $15-$18, as I found the exact same product on Temu for $10, but only in the grey color.Update. I seriously cannot get enough of these slip leads. I probably have about 6 of them now. I reach for them every day with my two dogs. I even keep an extra in my pocket on my walks in case I need them.They can get a little raggedy looking if you allow them be to dragged around, so theyâre not the best option if you want to keep a leash dragging on your dog.

I bought this leash because I liked the colors and the design. When I received the leash, I was surprised by the quality. I’ve got a medium sized dog, weighing in at 40lbs. She doesn’t pull extremley hard so this leash is perfect for her, versus going the prong collar route (extreme pullers, bigger dogs). I stuck to a simple walking/training routine. I started with using the leash in the house, then the backyard, then graduated to walking around the neighborhood. Now my Honey Bear is loose leash walking like a pro about 95% of the time. Buy this leash, and find a cinch collar/leash training process that works for you and your pup. You won’t regret it!

This leash was great for training our 65lb rottweiler/pitbull pup! I gave it a 4 out of 5 star just for the fact that the black piece isn’t very sturdy, so it kind of slipped down his neck when pulled a little.

Had a leather show lead that I liked but it didn’t last long before it broke. This one is very sturdy and has lasted a lot longer. Easy to use and nice to be able to slip it on and off the dog quickly

Great training lead for In Door use, I love the 3.5ft length for training and correcting behavior indoor. Once this thing get outside in the element and chewed on by a puppy, I can already see that it wont last.

We had previously walked our terrier mix with a harness and he constantly lunged and barked at other dogs and animals (squirrels) on our daily walks.This type of leash was recommended to us by a friend and within 2 days of using it (with treat reinforcement) we have seen a tremendous change.I like that this leash has a stopper so it canât choke your dog, but it can create enough pressure to get his attention and to stop his lunging.The handle is really well constructed and the leash âropeâ is really good quality.
