Slowed her right down
I have a dog/goat. I say this because this little 15lb pup thinks that every meal is her last. She doesn’t chew her food she swallows it whole. This, as a pet owner, can be unnerving. There are times she eats so fast she chokes. This slow feeding bowl was a great addition to the tools I use to help slow down my pups gobbling behavior. The sturdy silicon is dishwasher safe and easy to wash. The part I like about it the most is the ridges are small enough that I can press food and kibble into the grooves making it harder for my dog to just access the food to inhale. The shape of the bowl is perfect. The flat side fits flush against the wall where I have her bowl stand. It fits perfectly on top of her stand and stays in place. The little rubber suction cuts adhere to the wood and keep the bowl from slipping. If you want to slow your dog down in eating too fast, this bowl is a great way to help control this behavior. A great purchase.

Would Recommend
If you have a greedy dog that inhales their food, this is for you. I put her wet food in it and let her go to town. Takes her awhileeee, maybe 15 min or so, for her to lick up every last drop. My dog is only about 13lbs, so she isn’t eating a ton of food compared to what other dogs might, but I would say this size is suitable for dogs double her size (or more) for sure.As far as cleaning, this can go right in the dishwasher if you don’t feel like hand cleaning all the little crevices.Also, if you can’t decide on a color, the yellow/mustard color is beautiful.

Stays in place!
This bowl has suction cups on the bottom and stays in place nicely while the dog attacks his food. The puzzle keeps him from eating too fast and also keeps him interested in the food – heâs been eating better since we got this.

Edited 9/20 about a month after I posted my first review. I had to come back and change my review and take away as many stars as possible. though this bowl slowed my doges eating. it retained every smell possible in the plastic. even after washing it, it still smelled like her food so eventually it smelled like rotten dogfood. it was so gross. don’t buy this bowl. I am not going to wash a plastic bowl with bleach that already holds all particles from her food in it. I used dawn dis soap and even soaked in in hot water and dawn to try to get the smell out. and it was in it. it was horrible.she likes to eat as fast as she can then she cries because she ate too fast, and her tummy hurts lol i love this it slows her eating down and no crying but complaining she has to work for her food lol/ yes dogs like babies have different cries for different things and you learn them lol. i know her Bwording noises and her in pain noises lol and her scared ones too they are all different and she is not happy with having to work to eat her dinner lol. but she will adjust lol this is a good product and the suction cups on the bottom are wonderful too, no more traveling plates to dig out from under furniture. she also likes to eat in the Livingroom lol she is old and spoiled she is a diva lol and that’s ok.

great concept
We got this for our new puppy, but it was very difficult for her to get her food out of, so she would give up and not eat all of her food. If I poured the remaining food in another bowl, she would finish eating. It would probably work better for a smaller dogs food, as the pieces are smaller and won’t get wedged in it. I love the suction cups on the bottom that prevent it from moving.

This silicone puzzle feeder has exceeded my expectations! The silicone is thick and durable and the change in the design helps slow down my dog while he is eating out of the dish. The suction cups are an added bonus and are 10000% comparable to other strong hold brands.
