My name is Valerie Lecoeur Brockenbrough, and I’m the founder of Lucas b. Natural Dog Toys. As an eco-entrepreneur, mom, and dog owner, I’m passionate about offering families safe and healthy choices, including for their dogs. That’s why I’m proud to be partnering with Lanco, a family-owned business in Barcelona, Spain, that’s been making 100% natural rubber toys for both pets and children since 1952.
My husband and I have three great kids, and Lucas b. Natural Dog Toys is named after our son, Lucas (pronounced “luca”). Since he was a baby, Lucas has adored dogs of all shapes and sizes. And he’s best friends with our Yorkie Poo, “Rambo.”

Dog Loves It
This toy (and others made by the same) are the best toys for the dogs that likes to chew on their toys hard and tug. We had tried those so called indestructible toys, which aren’t, but these toys do last forever. It has an unique squeaker and she loves that, too. We have many of the designs and it gives her the satisfaction to chew on different pieces and textures. It’s a game to her to pull the squeaker (ugh)- watch for that- but regardless with the squeaker or not- it’s always the toy she brings to us to play.

Puppies love it, juvenile pups love it, adult pups love it! The textures seem to be soothing to pups and the squeak sound is kind. This same toy that I purchased many years ago has lasted for my Setters. I’m very happy to have found this caterpillar toy again.

Another winner from this brand of squeaky toys. My Maltipoo loves this toy so much that I decided to purchase another one as backup! Itâs so perfect for her- itâs the toy she consistently plays with every day and she plays with it independently. Having a puppy is a whole lot more work than I seem to remember, so toys that engage as well as being durable are so great. Itâs lightweight enough for her to carry around but can withstand those sharp little velociraptor teeth! ð¤£ð Soft squeaking noise at 3AM doesnât wake up the rest of the household (who seem to be able to sleep!) so thatâs a positive thing as well. Love, love, love these quality toys.

Great toy!
This was some of the best money I ever spent on a dogâs toy. âCatty,â as my dog calls it, comes in second favorite out of probably 50 toys! The squeak is gentle to the ears, which is important to me since she plays with it so much. Itâs soft but rugged, made with a material that is strong enough that itâs difficult for little teeth to puncture and can easily withstand endless hours tug-of-war play. It seems to be indestructible.Itâs obvious a lot of thought went into the making of this toy. Catty has various anti-boredom textures and details that set it apart from your average toy, which Iâm sure is what keeps the toy interesting to my dog. Catty is definitely worth the money!

I thought it was so cute!
My dog Molly, who is a 25 lb. Miniature Schnauzer mix, loves her squeaky toys and is spoiled so even though this caterpillar cost more than any other squeaky toy she has I bought it for her for a Christmas present because I thought it was so cute. Like others have said the squeaker is really quiet but Molly will not retrieve it. I guess it’s the texture because she will not pick it up in her mouth. She will run to fetch it but then just smell it and maybe step on it a couple of times. This is the only toy she has that she won’t pick up. Weird, but true.

Itâs a hit,
I buy my terrier mix rescue dog so many toys she just runs around playing with everything. She played with this a while and now took it to her bed and is napping with it. She likes the texture but Iâm not sure she will stay interested because there is no loud squeaker. My daughter who is now 34 had this sane catapiller excet in green when she was a baby. She loved it too.

Last one bought around 2004âdurable and well-loved
I had purchased this dog toy for a previous dog way back around 2004.When I saw this on Amazon, I had to get it for my 3 year old chihuahua mix.My chi mix loved it just as much as my previous Scottie did. Even though the squeaker has been removed by my chi mix, he plays with it just as much as before.The look of the toy as well as the rubber used, makes it a long lasting, delightful toy. The legs are easily pulled off, but doesnât seem to affect appeal of toy either.
