Great for walking cats
Itâs light weight enough that my cats donât mind it at all but itâs sturdy enough that I donât believe there is a chance that they will be able to break it through pulling or a few bites. I feel that the length is good as it gives them room to jog ahead a little without being too far away for you to pull them back in case of an emergency. The reflective aspect is nice for visibility as well.

Got the 100 foot leash for a backyard cat that likes to run across the yard without warning and chase mice real or imagined. Not too heavy. Sturdy, we got surprized by a possum and she took off at it I was able to restrain her in the nice of time, the possum ducked back under the fence. HOWEVER, this leash easily tangles and it is certainly not something you can tie off and forget your cat. It easily can get tangled on branches and limbs or fences or shrubbery, you have to be there for your cat and learn how to use it and watch for the tangles and also be prepared to be fiddling with it as it bunches up. I wrap it around my hand and feed it out as my cat needs it and draw up the slack (leaving my cat SOME slack of course so she can take off and run a bit) but you can’t just let a whole bunch pile up on the ground else it will tangle almost like monofilament light despite the covering. Obviously the long length is not good for walking with your cat, for use in like a back yard with you observing and controlling as best you can. Primary purpose is for preventing the cat from jumping the privacy fence or otherwise running off but you still have to watch the cat and learn how to use it. Can get wrapped around something quickly.

I like how long it is as it allows my cat to roam around freely while being supervised. She is an indoor cat and this is her favourite activity. It is a little heavy but not too heavy for her and she is a small 3 kg cat. It can catch on things so I wouldnât recommend leaving them unsupervised as the rope did get tied up around her leg and she wasnât comfortable. She also tries going around bush and the rope catches so you need to keep an eye out. But the 30 feet is great for a large backyard or a park. She can run and go places she never been. Itâs a great product.

This cat leash is so light. It weighs almost nothing. I purchased the 30 foot length and am very happy with it. One thing I do notice is that on the grass, the leash moves very easy. On my pavers, it seem to “stick” to them a bit like a microfibre cloth would. Must be because the rope is not smooth. I also like that this is not a stiff wire leash but fabric rope.
