Nice socks? Yes. Durable for big dog? Not so much
I buy these socks for my German Shepherd â very strong, 70-pound boy with arthritis and muscle problem. Socks fit snug, good! Warmth? Yes, keeps paws cozy like wool from Kazakhstan! Traction is also nice for him to not slip on the floors. But⦠functionality for outdoor? Not great success. My dog drags back legs a little, and after 24 hours of indoor and outdoor walking, socks already have big holes at the toes. I use special dog tape to keep them on, but is not ideal. Value for money? Only if you keep dog inside on soft floors, like fancy carpet. Outside, socks rip too fast, like cheap suit. For dogs with dragging paws, these are best for indoor use only. But they look cute like wife in kitchen.

Bought to go inside boot as dog had op on paw. They are very good at stopping boot coming off (unless dog runs) and keep paw clean if sand/dirt go inside boot. But altho’ bought XL size, as he’s a GSD, they were very tight and hurt him as tried to get on. Have since stretched them over a metal flask after washing and now fit better. Would have given a higher score if wasn’t for this.
