After doing research on stroke victims with sundowners. This stuffed animal was recommended. It has worked wonders. The weight in the toy gives it a real feel, the the fur is soft and cuddly. The eyes are not attached, they are stitched, making it safer. Theo has help!!!

This dog just saved me!!
I’ve had theo my dog for awhile now, and the inside bag ripped, so I threw the bag away. However, we just had an ice storm, and we lost our power, and had no heat. So I put a rechargeable hand warmer in him, and he kept me warm, until the power came back on. He literally saved my life!! I am making him my personal support pet!! I love him!!

Better than a real dog-no cleanup
Theo is soft and heavy made to feel like a real dog. Our 12 year old grandson has had a difficult year so we got this for him. He is all boy and wanted a real dog, but Theo lives in his room and he sleeps with him.

Great for anxiety
I was so surprised at how much I loved this dog. I originally purchased for the weight to use when I have bad period cramps, I thought placing the extra weight on my electric heat pad would feel good, I was right. What I didn’t expect was how much this pup helped with my daily anxiety, the different textures and weight have helped calm me down so much. It helped me understand that when I am ideal I don’t “fidget” which is why the spinners next worked but the weight and different feeling textures calms me right down!One down side which seems to be everybody’s issues as well is that the tail only lasted about a week before I had to sew it back on. It was rather simple once I found a YouTube tutorial. Additionally as this was weighted for a child and I am a grown woman, I purchased some additionally weights and added them into his tummy. As long as I grab him by the body nothing terrible has happened yet.

A Therapy Dog that is Washable!
Theo the Therapy Dog is so soft. His hugs give comfort.The one I have finally needed a good cleaning and I called the company for guidance. I followed the directions and after washing and drying him he is just as soft as the day he was purchased. If your Theo needs to be cleaned call the company and asked for the directions.

Great product, crappy stitching
This was a wonderful thing for my son who deals with a lot of anxiety and has troubles with sleeping at night. The weight and warmth from Theo has gotten him through many nights. My main complaint is that the stitching was not done well. Every week, we have a new spot where the stitching has popped loose and I have to attempt to patch it closed again. That part was very disappointing since I spent a pretty penny on this for my son. I was expecting them to have done a much better job for how much it costs. If you are willing to deal with the shotty seam work or deal with returns, then this is a very nice product. We really do love Theo, I just hate the fact that they didn’t take more time in making sure the stitching was up to par with the price. If my son didn’t love this so much, we would be returning it in hopes the next one was better stitched together.
