Great for ten gallon
Working perfectly on my ten gallon. The only complaint is setting the temperature was a little glitchy, but got it done. The thermostat is maintaining temperature just fine.

The temperature adjustment is the best part
They’re also completely flat so they fit nicely under my reptiles’ enclosures. My ball python likes to sit right on top of the heat mat at full temperature, while my boa (way larger) won’t sit on top of it unless it’s only on halfway.The reptile room is chilly, so these are perfect.

I bought this for the side of my ball python tank to add warmth during the winter. Unfortunately, the sticky tape adheres well to the glass but not to the heating element. Today it fell off the side of the tank. I donât think this would cause a fire or any issue like that, but it sure wonât keep the snake warm.

Good heating mat, only one issueâ¦
So I read a review that said there are two sides to the adhesive. This was confusing at first, but the review was very helpful. Now, Iâm having trouble with the temperature adjustment. It says to hold for 15 seconds, but when I do it just goes back to the lower number and blinks. If anyone has advice on this it would be greatly appreciated! I wish to set it at 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The lower number is at 60, and Iâm not quite sure what the lower number indicates.

Ball python approves!
You can either stick this heating pad to the outside bottom of your critter’s habitat or on the side. Never inside. I have an aquarium for my ball python, and I have the heating pad stuck to the side. It sticks very well and was easy to install. I like that it has a thermostat and a heat sensor that you should definitely attach to the pad (we used electrical tape) to monitor the heat. Hermes definitely approves of it at night! I recommend.
