Huntboo harness, small blue
This fits well. It looks sharp. I had to return the first Huntboo as was too long, interfered with his penis. This is shorter the back strap doesnât run underneath. My only complaint is I may have to buy new collar to color coordinate.

great for long bodies
this is perfect for my dachshund. she is quite long, and has slipped out of other harnesses. with the 3 straps, I can adjust it to fit her rib cage and tummy, making a great fit. this also let’s me lift her in a better balanced manner. I like being able to grab her up, as I have had big, unleashed dogs charge at her. well made, secure fit, although it can be a bit difficult to adjust. I ordered the medium and adjusted it as small as it would go. I think the small would work just fine for a 17 pound dachshund.

Stiff, thick material
I purchased this harness for a stubborn, escape artist 9.5 lb. Pomeranian. Heâs a chunky boy. I ordered size Small as indicated for his measurements. It was the correct size and the harness looked and seemed to be very good quality. The plastic buckles were easy to press open and were very secure when fastened. lt appeared to be well designed and worth the cost. For Poms, I am always concerned that the harness fits well below the trachea, and this one does. However, for a toy/small dog without a lot of weight to thrown around straining at a leash, it was overkill. I found the fabric too stiff and thick for under his legs where the skin is delicate and the short little legs meet his body. It would have chafed him there and on his belly. For bigger dogs, I still wouldnât be very pleased with the fabric because it is very stiff, but I think the way it is cut would make it less of an issue. I returned it and am continuing the search.

My playful pug-frenchie thinks being chased is fun- he would sometimes slip out of his old harness once I caught him- no more! This harness fits him great and so far seems to be secure, it is also really easy to put on and take off.

Sturdy
I like how sturdy this is. Plus, the handle on the back is a great idea. My 30 lb. American Eskimo dog was escaping other harnesses Iâd bought. He has a bigger chest. Iâm still (and probably always) cautious when I take him out but I definitely feel that the extra strap keeps him much more secure. I feel more confident with this product 🙂

Escape Proof for the Little Runners
Pleased with the fit of this harness. Ordered extra small for my chiweenie dog who has a very small neck, 8 in, and a long narrow body. Appreciate the handle which helps me lift him into the car and high places. His body is semi-supported by the band underneath the chest. The extra small fits him perfectly and only needed minor adjustments. Four stars instead of five because he’s able to put his leg outside of the opening for the leg and slide the harness around his body, out of place. Tightened up the opening for the head which has reduced this issue but not fully eliminated it. Harness is nice and reflective as well. Seems to be well crafted and sturdy.
