Easy to use. So far so good. I like it.
Wanted to try light therapy for my knees and shoulder. Came across this handheld wireless unit and decided to give it a shot. It comes with a manual, USB charging cord and wall adapter, safety goggles and a cleaning cloth. Packaging was good.The device is pretty simple with a on/off button, a timer button, and a strength button which is labeled “Power” which makes it a little confusing. Don’t confuse this button with the on/off power button. The “Power” button allows to to cycle through one of 4 strengths of light. The timer button allows you to cycle through one of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes or 20 minutes for your session time countdown.To operate, you press the on/off button, then select your “Power” & Timer settings. Then press the on/off button to start the red lights. Pressing on/off once the lights have lit up will pause the lights and they go out. Pressing yet again will restart them. Pressing and holding the on/off button will turn the device completely off.They recommend checking for light sensitivity first on your forearm. I did this and everything was fine. I’ve tried a few low power low timer sessions so far. It’s still a bit early to notice any benefits but if anything changes drastically either way I’ll come back and update the review. Finally once the timer countdown reaches zero, the lights go out but the unit remains powered on. You can start a new session or power the unit off from there.I recommend fully charging the unit before first use so you can see how many sessions you get from a full charge. There are two sets of light on the unit that run simultaneously. There is a large outer area the penetrates shallow depths and a small centered area that penetrates deeper. It’s a lightweight and easy way to get some light therapy at home or on the go. Overall I’m pleased so far with the unit. Time will tell more about any benefits.

Gets warm!
I needed to replace the red light in my set up and this did the job perfectly. Wrapped well in shipment, works well, a great red glow. Honestly canât wait to use it in the winter here to add an extra heat element to the bedroom, but besides that it doesnât get TOO hot that you canât stand it. My husband has a spinal cord injury and a knee replacement, he swears it helps with pain. We use it before bed every night and to wake up each morning, helps the body wake up a bit easier. Would buy again.

I am recovering from a torn hip labrum. Love this thing! Went and had professional laser therapy done, didn’t want to continue to pay the cost that it was if I can do it in the comfort of my own home for a solid one-time cost versus hundreds of dollars to continue to go there. Works very well on tight muscles as well, I do a lot of bodybuilding and weight lifting definitely a great tool to have in my arsenal! Highly recommend wearing the glasses that it comes with the red lights are very bright you can even see them when not looking directly into the wand.

This machine did nothing. Didn’t generate heat and the first one came broken. Eventually I bit the bullet and bought the Firefly unit because the ones I ordered off Amazon didn’t do anything. It looks great but that’s about it.

Science is good on Red Light
I’ve been using red light for the past couple years in a total body sauna with good results. I wanted something where I could target specific areas and have the portability. This fit the bill and for the past month it has been doing the job on my knee. This takes time and consistency. Anyone that says they used it once and felt relief its very questionable… it just doesn’t work like that. I like this deice becuase the controls are simple to use and you just charge it. No batteries to replace. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants to try a pain relief regiment. Good Luck!

Not what I anticipated
I used this product for a couple of days and the brightness is intense but if you have back out neck issues it’s hard to hold it in place. I would only recommend if it had some your off holder to keep it in place without me having to hold it, it gets tiring to keep it in place.
